is there a website that compares all rental car companies -
1. pros and cons of each
2. special "rewards" of each
3. which companies are affilitated with certain organizations or clubs (Samsclub, AAA, Disney Visa, Entertainment Books, etc.)
4. how to find out the current deals, coupons of each company
5. which companies "Assign" a vehicle to you and ones that let you "choose your own vehicle" on the lot.
I think I'd like being able to choose my own minivan on the lot; maybe there would be one with a DVD player to keep the kids entertained. Maybe there would be one with dual sliding side doors (Or am I dreaming?)
For example, I'd like to rent a minivan in August for 10 days, unlimited mileage, renting and returning in my hometown. So I couldn't qualify for any Florida specials and I'm not a senior citizen. I do have AAA and am a Sams Club member. We are staying at the Swan and have joined the Starwood Preferred Guest (SPG), which has a deal with Avis to earn "SPG points", but Avis' prices are not inexpensive. It's so confusing........
