DH and I were planning on eating at Yachtsman Steakhouse on our MK day but looking at logistics, I am wondering if there is somewhere comparable at one of the Monorail resorts?

Caveat: we are already have Sunday brunch at California Grill and with only a 5 night trip, would like to try as many places as possible.

Caveat part 2: Is there a comparable brunch to Cal Grill's?

Narcoossees also has a Sunday brunch that gets great reviews. It is different in that it doesn’t have the “ buffet” section as well tho.
There are several good Signature Restaurants on the Monorail but no steakhouses like Yachtsman

If you are looking for a good steak (obviously is you were going to eat at Yatchsmans), California Grill has incredible steaks. We have eaten at Citricos and Narcoossees. Neither were memorable. The food was ok, but nothing special. While not on the monorail, the steaks at Artist Point were not too bad and there is a boat to take back and forth to Wilderness.

Steaks at all the signatures are good, but I don't think you'll find quite the quality of Yachtsman at any of the monorail resorts. That said in addition to California Grill, Artists Point, Citricos, and Narcoosee's are all quite good. Though I'm not sure steak would be my first choice at any of them. Seafood shines at both Artists Point & Narcoossee's and while I haven't had steak at Citricos their short ribs are amazing

My favorite steak on property (besides Shula's) is at The Wave at the Contemporary. We had a terrible experience at Yachtsman several years ago. The filet at The Wave on our last trip was amazing. We will be back this year!

The brunch at Narcossee’s is gone now. I would go to. California Grill for brunch. I wish I could give you good advice for the steak.

I know and it makes me :(. Glad we had a chance to go during the Christmas 2017 season.
Agreeing with previous posters that you will not find a traditional steakhouse ambiance or meal among the monorail hotels but one of the suggestions kastoney made may fit the bill. All, are either in monorail hotels or a relaxing boat ride away from MK.

My DD's steak at The Wave she said was very good. In fact, The Wave is one place we'd go back to.

As others have said, you won't find a steakhouse like Yachtsman in the MK area. However, if you are looking for a signature with great food in a quieter atmosphere, I would consider Artist Point at WL - the food is amazing!

:worship: Thank you all for the insights and suggestions. The Wave menu isn't doing it for me....Artist Point is a viable option. They have truffle Mac n cheese. :cloud9: Their menu looks fabulous.

Decisions, decisions.....

Nothing too similar to Yachtsman, but if I had to choose from all the options on the Monorail I would choose Artist Point.
