Common Fears

Going with the roaches! I was working in a restaurant....close to closing time ( 3 A.M. or so) and for whatever reason I needed to move a box of of the top storage shelf.

I was rained on by roaches that I can only estimate the number of.

I'll go with a 1000. I have no idea. But I do know I was COVERED with cuccarachas head to toe.

I would have flatlined. Seriously.

Clowns are my #1 fear.

I voted snakes...cause they are a very close second to my number one fear: clowns...clowns are the most horrible ever!!! I used to run screaming from them when I was young and I still have to close my eyes if they are around or on tv...

But snakes are right up there too...I also have to close my eyes when they're on tv as well...eek!

I couldn't pick only one.....it's a tie between snakes and slugs. Those creepy little slugs (big, creepy slugs actually) are everywhere in the summer. When we come home in the evening, they are all over our front deck. I am so afraid of stepping on one of those disgusting, slimey things. I know salt will kill them, but I don't want their guts all over my deck so I just leave them alone. In the morning they're gone but their goopy trails are still there. Blech.

And snakes....brrrrrr, I get the chills just thinking about them.

None of the other critters on the list bother me though. I'll swim in the ocean with jellyfish, I don't even flinch if there's a bee around me, spiders don't even register on my list of fears. I don't like rats, roaches or mice, but they don't scare me.

I voted other for sharks. I can run away from all the other stuff, but sharks have the mobility advantage in water.

It's almost a toss up between snakes and spiders, but I chose snakes, since I can squish most spiders, if I need to.

Rats or mice. They...scurry. It freaks me out. I'm not skeeved out by anything else on that list but I moved out of my office for a week this summer when two mice scurried through. I was totally willing to just give them that area.

Wasps are the most useless creature on earth. I agree - they are evil incarnate.

Roaches are NASTY. And add earwigs to the list.

Bees, wasps, hornets I have an unrealistic fear of them and always have yet never been stung You don't want to be on the same road with me if one starts buzzing around my car.

While I don't like any of the others, it's the flying that really gets me. I guess with mice/rats I can get away and snakes seem too slow to do any real damage

Only spiders, and not even them much. Just if they surprise me, like in the shower. Ever opened your eyes after shampooing and found a spider RIGHT THERE?

I love rats. Raised a whole bunch of them in high school. Would love to have a snake too, but DH is terrified of them.

You know what's not on this list and should be? Earwigs. They're just nasty.

Well I'm sorry for any nightmares I caused! I never said mine...mine is roaches. They're just horrible...they hide in the dark, then come out and spread their dirtiness around just to scurry away again when you turn the lights on. You can't squish them because as soon as you go over to get them, they run away. They also seem untouchable...I've heard roaches will be around after everything else is gone.

Roaches SUCK...eww!

Snakes! Big time. Needles no big deal. I take insulin and have for 30 years. Needles are a breeze
