liz-WTG girl!!! The 3 miler is a big accomplishment and good job with the water too. :cool1:

Still staying OP for me, worked out everyday this week at the gym and shoveled snow for 2 hours on Sunday so I am feeling it all today. Tomorrow is my rest day, along with my day to weigh myself so I'm looking forward to it. While I realize I won't have the big loss I did last week I think I'll do just fine.

Got through my first day of WW ok.........hungry last night but had some popcorn (Jolly Time 94% Fat Free).

This weekend is my nephew's confirmation and they are planning on going to a Mexican restaurant. YIKES!! Group Hug time :grouphug: Need support to get through that.

Hey all,
The week is going well and guess what!!!!

My scale said 149 this morning!! :banana: :banana:

It just felt like I was just staying the same for the longest time. And I know it's because I started, went to Florida and got back to a steady commitment of exercise. I had to give my body time to actually catch up and move. I feel so good today.

I even put on my jeans that have been tight and while they were still snug, they aren't uncomfortable to sit in. They actually feel pretty good. Now I'll be having a real party when I can fit comfortablly in my favorite pair of Levi's. Right now, I can't zip them up.

Woo hoo! Happy Day, and it's Friday to Boot! :banana:
 
Whoa! You all are doing great! I am having one of those days...I HATE AOL! I keep losing my ability to connect! As soon as I get everything running again I'll post more!

Y'all look mah-velous!!

I did well yesterday, but not so good the day before :sad:
Been kinda emotional lately so I've been eating with reckless abandon. I think we're in one of those rebuilding phases. DH and I have both gotten new jobs in the past six months and we're still trying to work out the scheduling of who picks up which kid, what household stuff to do when, etc.

Oh well...onward and upward! I'm still committed! (...or is that I should still be committed :crazy: )
 
Ahhhhh, I just can not seem to get it together. I FINALLY went to the gym last night and it felt so good to spend some time on the treadmill. I can not believe it, I have turned into one of "those people", you know those people who like to exercise. So, why can't I make myself do it everyday? Add me to the list of Aunt Flo's victims this week :-(. Tomorrow is my sister's bridal shower. I am sure there will be tons of great food that is terrible for me. I am hoping for a better week next week. I have got to get serious about this!

I did really great this week (except for my bad eating on Sunday) and lost a little over 4 pounds, yippee!!!! :teeth:

Today will be tough as it is a rest day (no gym) and my DH is working all weekend so I'll be home all day with just our DS who is always hungry. I'm getting him outside soon to go sledding so that should be fun and burn some calories too. One day at a time, I'll get where I'm headed!

Okay gang, I got the computer issues resolved but now I need to whine. :charac2: I have been weighing on an old fashioned scale but last night I bought a Tanita digital scale (measures body fat too) and I knew this was going to happen but still I've been pouting all night!! It reads about 6 pounds heavier than the old scale. :guilty: I just wanna cry! Hubby has been very supportive trying to justify the difference for me but the scales don't lie. SO, I gotta suck it up and work a little harder!!

Thanks for letting me whine I feel better now. Hey, it is snowing here which is something rare!! Usually when we have a snow episode I do a junk food grocery trip BUT this time I bought fruit and healthy stuff!! :goodvibes

My official weigh in is tomorrow morning so I'll post again then. Hope everyone has a great weekend!!

I did the same thing a few months ago. My old scale...if you leaned on it one way or the other, you could reduce your weight by a couple pounds. :earseek:

It was shocking to buy a new scale, but I put a big note in my book that says NEW SCALE by the weight! I spent the first couple months converting in my head...well I weigh this much now, but I would've weighed this much on the old scale...just to make myself feel better. I'm over it now, but it was a shock!

You'll be fabulous, Tig...you'll have that new scale going in the right direction in no time! :cool1:
 
YEAH! I did it! I've recorded on Fitday, I've had my water-although on the weekend, it tends to be green tea-, I've had my lessons planned, have been pretty good about not eating just before bed, and I DID get to Curves twice this week. Did Thursday night and this morning. Slowly, slowly, slowly. :teeth:
 
Keep up the great work everyone! We are almost to our 3rd week. I'll be posting the thread tonight or in the morning so watch for it. Remember this is for you to make the commitments that YOU need to work on personally. Thanks for all the inspiration and motivation this week!
