Sha: Very good point about the MSEP - when I was at DL in '05, I didn't even realize that it was running there! I would have loved to have seen it again.
Master Mason, I meant the whole "crossing the Seven Seas Lagoon" experience, by monorail or boat... which admittedly you miss when taking a bus to the MK, but I think that it's still a lot more immersive, due to the sheer scale. Walt certainly agreed, it's not that DL has anything
wrong but the "blessing of size" makes a huge difference to the whole experience.
Unfortunately, it was pretty crowded when we went, which I think was on two weekdays in August, but trying to get around the park when the fireworks were about to start was a
nightmare, there were ropes everywhere and CMs with flashlights making sure that people passing through kept moving during the fireworks. Of course, the sidewalks were a crowded mess during Fantasmic as well.
But I
guess I'll go back anyway.
