CBR is a beautiful resort. You truly feel like you have escaped the world when you stay at CBR. It is fun for the entire family with the boat and bike rentals. You can stroll around the beautifully landscaped island and enjoy the secluded tables and hammocks. One of the best things to do at CBR is to lay in a hammock on Martinique Beach and watch the high fireworks from Illuminations at Epcot. CBR is great for families since the Main pool is next to the Food court.

CBR is a beautiful resort. Really feels like you're on vacation when you stay there. The Cast Members there are very nice. In fact, the bellboy was the first to address my DD3 and DD5 as princesses and we just did a split stay from CR the 2 previous nights (needless to say he got a very good tip).

We stayed there with our 7 yr old grandson last September and loved it. The walks to the Food Court and Main Pool were actually pleasant. We were watching the Epcot fireworks from the bridge one evening and our grandson was more enamored with the catfish swimming in the lake. Ahhh, the simple things......

My DH and I stayed at CBR in Feb. 2006 with our DD (2). We thought it was really beautiful -especially coming from the snowy north at that time of year. The best part was going for a morning stroll around the beautiful lake to get coffee. Luckily, we were in a building very near the food court - otherwise there could be a LOT of walking. We liked that there were several quiet pools not just the busy main one.

We stayed for the first time at CBR in March 2006 We stayed in Jamacia 45 and we had a wonderful time. We were close to the bridge so we had no problem getting anywhere, and only a short way from the bus stops. We ejoyed the environment and felt lie we were at the CB!! We are planning another trip back to CBR next year!!

Our first 3 stays at WDW were at delux resorts, 2 of them at the Poly. It was incredible. Our 4th stay was at the cbr. We were spoiled. the buses made 4 stops within the cbr before we left for the parks. we were a little bit disappointed. If we would have only stayed there first, we would have loved it. The cbr to us just seemed to be out in the middle of nowhere.

We stayed at CBR the first time in June/July. WHAT A GREAT RESORT!!!! We loved everything about it!!! The room, pools, food court, buses, housekeeping and it beautiful!! Safetymom's pictures tells it all! Have a great trip!!

Just changed our reservations in Oct from the coronada to cbr. Because we never stayed there and have heard good things.

CBR (like all moderates) is a love/hate relationship! Some people love it, some hate it. Im not a big fan, but Id be lying if I said Ididnt have a good time...My cousin however LOOOVES IT and would go back anytime...so there you go

We haven't stayed there in quite a while but were on a bus that went around the resort and it looked awesome. Just like the other moderates, it is spread out and can seem too big but don't worry. Have a good time.

I'm so glad there are so many positive comments on here about CBR. I'll be staying there in 6 weeks time! I'm sooooooo excited about it ....cant wait to get to WDW!!!

CBR was out first Disney resort (1991) - on our first trip to WDW with our sweet 4 yo daughter. It has very special memories <big wistful smile here>.

My brother and his grown daughter and her whole family stayed there last Fall and loved it.

We are a definite "yes"

CBR is beautiful. Do some research before arrival, (which I am sure you are doing) to request a location..

I think some people are unhappy with CBR because it is so big, and they do not like the long walks to the pool/food court.

This was my biggest issue when my family and I stayed there. You have to do a bunch of walking and after long days at the park, it's not that great. Makes you think twice about going to the food court to get a drink refill as well. Just my opinion.

Stayed at CBR twice and loved it. Didn't care for POR (it was a bad time to go after 9/11) and am doing AKL for the 2nd time this year.

IMO CBR is more fun than the others but right now we're just in to the animal thing. When we go in 2007 we are going with 20 people and are going back to CBR. We took a vote and 17 people picked CBR out of the 20 going. That should tell you something about the resort.

LOVE IT!!!! Changed ressies from WL CL to CBR!!!!! Just can't wait to go back!
