In case you guys didn't know... they sell something -very- similar at Trader Joe's with the frozen pizzas (if you have one nearby). Half of one of those with an arugala salad makes an awesome, if not very healthy, lunch.

Oh my gosh thank you thank you thank you I LOVE that pizza/flat bread/tart thing and used to get one very similar at Pardon my French in the Mall of America but they closed and I have not had even a fake one for months and months. Now to sucker my husband into stopping at a trader Joe's on his way home tonight........

I took most of the day off yesterday for a family outing to Chicago to see the Cubs game.

Unfortunately they lost 5 - 0 in the 9th inning (it was a scoreless game through the 8th, so not too exciting), but such is the life of a Cubs' fan.
​

So anyway, I'll answer some posts first and then post the rest of the updates which I received yesterday.

Great! Yes, we had to cut it one day short because of the great deal we got on plane tickets.

Yes! Three points per location for every meal (one point for snack) at Universal, regardless of whether it's a TS or QS-type place. Also all of the usual bonus points are available for sign, menus, etc.

Thanks Barb. We're leaving home at 5.30am UK time for a long day of travelling, but can't wait until we arrive at SSR. We stayed at AKL last year for our Disneymoon, and first trip to WDW, and enjoyed it so much that we decided to come back again for our first wedding anniversary.

Today Dena and her family saw a movie and had lunch at the AMC Dine-In Theater.

She said, "I couldn't get any pics, the theater was too dark and I wouldn't use the flash...sorry! But here's an ok pic of the menu..."

Thanks! We leave in am for 4 nights Poly CL then 5 nights at VWL! On this trip it will be me, dh, ds Jack (16) and Princess Kylie (7)! We also have a couple of family members arriving on mon night staying at Pop for 4 nights! Here are our dining plans:

We received a few more updates today from nicole0992, the first one from Pop Century's...










She said, "We went to visit a friend of my daughter's who works at the front desk at Pop Century and decided to have lunch. We both decided on the meaty Stromboli, which is a new item. It took 30 min. to get our food. It was so slow it was ridiculous."









"The Stromboli was packed with salami, pepperoni, and Sopressata. There was actually too much meat because when I cut into it, literally a few ounces of oil from the meat being warmed inside just poured out into my plate."




"It came with a side Caesar salad..."










"I don't recommend this meal at all." ​

She said, "I couldn't leave without trying the Pissaladiere (tomatoes, olives, and gruyere cheese - like focaccia pizza)."






"My daughter chose the Roule Au Fromage (garlic and cheese roll)."




"The garlic cheese roll was honestly one of the best things I ate the entire trip. It was so simple. Perfectly crusty outside, yet soft inside and so delicious. The pizza was great also. I love olives and they don't skimp on them."​
