Sunshine Seasons



She said, "Spending today at Epcot, we got a later start so we had some snacks in the room for breakfast and had lunch in the Land at Sunshine Seasons!"






"I had the Vegetable Flatbread Sandwich with potato salad, I thought it was great, I loved the dressing and feta cheese."






Turkey and Monterey Jack on Ciabatta with Chipotle Mayonnaise

"Jeff had the turkey wedge with Monterey Jack cheese and potato salad. He says the sandwich was very good and decent sized too! We both agree that we don't mind paying the prices for the food because it has all been really great!"







"Ava had Smuckers PB & J with grapes, she loves that!"







"We all shared the strawberry shortcake.... Delicious!!!!!"

"Once again the omelet station was the favorite!"







"I had smoked salmon, which made me happy. The western breakfast pizza was awesome!"

"My Portobello Sandwich was yummy. It was marinated in a light vinaigrette and was very refreshing."





"DD (now a pirate named Rosa Battleshout thanks to the Pirates League) said her Pork Sandwich was just okay."

Nicole said, "We stopped at La Cava de Tequila so I could finally try the avocado margarita! I love avocado and I love margaritas so I thought win win....Nope! We both thought this was awful! I kept trying it hoping it would change and it just got worse to me! I threw it out, we also got a strawberry piña colada that was a virgin cocktail but we had them add rum! This was pretty good!"

"For dinner tonight we headed over to AKL and Boma. What a beautiful hotel!"









"Tonight they had 4 different soups. We loved the spicy seafood gumbo."






"Nice salads including a curry pasta salad."





"Hummus was great...Oh, you can almost see my habanero lime margarita in the background (very good)."






"Spicy chicken, really good."





"On the left was bobotie. I tried it, but didn't like it."

"Haha...loved this sign. No wonder everyone is so crazy about the zebra domes!"



"We really enjoyed Boma. If we were comparing it to Cape May, Boma would win without question. The AKL is spectacular. Better dessert selection than Cape May and I just felt there was a better selection of foods with great flavors. We would go back."

We've received some updates from Nicole (AvasMommy526) this morning, including this First Update of the Day from their dinner last night at Epcot's...















Nicole said, "We had dinner at Via Napoli last night and everything we had from our waiter to the drinks to the food was perfect! I love this place, I wish I had made another reservation for later in the week to take our families, I think they would love it (we own a bakery/deli/pizzeria!)."




"We started with the Arancini and Mozzarella Caprese salad, both great!"





Mozzarella Caprese - Vine ripened tomato and fresh mozzarella






Arancini - Fried saffron risotto balls filled with mozzarella and meat ragu


"We especially loved the Arancini!!"




"I also had a glass of the red sangria, very refreshing!"







"We all split the large Carciofi pizza with the artichoke, mozzarella, truffle oil and pecorino......this was amazing!"






"Just a perfect choice for us, it came out fast too!"








"We were soooo full but I had to try the zeppole! Again a perfect choice, they were delicious."









Zeppole Di Catarina - Ricotta Cheese Fritters, served with whipped cream, chocolate sauce




"Jeff also had a cappuccino, perfect!"








"Ava had a scoop of vanilla gelato, which was also yummy!"

"We stopped at Karamelle Kuche, even though we were stuffed, I had to check it out!"


















"We got a sea salt dark chocolate caramel and a small bag of the caramel popcorn. We tried these later when we went back for Illuminations and wow, wonderful!"

Nicole said, "I'm loving food and snacks this trip, I'm not going to fit in my dress on Monday!!! We made a stop in Norway at Kringla Bakeri Og Kafe, everything looked pretty good!"

"I had to try school bread and Jeff wasn't going to get anything and then saw the waffle and got that!"

Yum! We ate there for Christmas dinner last year and loved Boma! Funny story about the Zebra Domes: My dad went to get his dessert and said 2 boys (probably around 9) were standing there whispering. He asked them if something was wrong and they said that they had put Zebra Domes on their plate and then saw the "Contains Alcohol" sign and were trying to decide if they should put them back.

Tony's Town Square



Chris said, "We had supper last night at Tony's. I thought it was good. Brooke and I both got the Chicken Parmesan. Yummmm!"





Chicken Parmigiana - Lightly breaded chicken breast with marinara sauce topped with melted mozzarella over spaghetti.




"DH had the canelloni...



Cannelloni filled with a mixture of ground beef and sausage, mozzarella, and ricotta served with marinara and alfredo cream sauce




"Becca had the Pork Piccata. She wasn't sure about the capers though."
