At DHS yesterday afternoon, Arielle71 and her DH shared this snack...

Then for dinner last night they park hopped over to Epcot and dined at...

"We chose the scallops and the filet mignon entrees and we shared both...we had a great female cook, the best we've had there in more than 10 visits!"

"We also had great dining companions and the food was nice and piping hot."

"After dinner DH was brought a birthday ginger cake."

I didn't see chicken nuggets on the kids menu! Is that a new item...thats great for my boys. Is that on the kids menu or is that an adult dish? Thanks.

Here is Susan's answer to your question:

The waitress called them chicken chunks. DD asked for chicken nuggets and that is what they brought her. They are like the grown up chicken tenders they sell at all of the QS locations. DD liked them !!

"There is a reason this is Christopher's favorite parade spot!"

Crystal Palace

"Yesterday we had dinner at the Crystal Palace! It was our first time and everyone loved the characters! Carla and Chris loved the food, Jimmy and I not so much! I had a nice cup of coffee! I thought Jimmy was going to have a stroke when the bill came until he realized it was on the DDP! Not something we would do again but a lot of fun nonetheless!"

She said, "I had the burger with mushrooms and grilled onions and my DH had the Philly Cheesesteak...both were pretty good and their fries are really nice."

"It was raining cats and dogs, so it was nearly empty."

"Nothing super special about the food, but the pizza combined with the atmosphere is classic."

"Here are some shots of the prep area..."

"Cinnamon sugar waffle. Very good."

"Nutella and fresh fruit waffle sandwich. I actually wasn't crazy about this. I'm not a Nutella fan - there was just too much on the sandwich for my taste."

"The strawberries and whipped cream waffle was the best! Mom ordered this, and everyone was sampling off hers." ​

She said, "We skipped breakfast this morning, ya can't eat while running from ride to ride at 7 a.m. while in Magic Kingdom!

Kids had a snack though at..."

"It was rainy and chilly."

"Kids were to split a blueberry muffin and a strawberry drink but the lady felt sorry for Josh because he had to share and gave him his own muffin. He liked the muffin part but spit out the blueberries like they were poisonous, that crazy kid! Kaiti said the muffins were moist and yummy. The strawberry drink was too sweet."




"Then lunch was at..."


Pinocchio Village Haus


"It was crowded around there so no picture."

"Jon, Kaiti and myself had the pepperoni flatbread. The flatbread was so hot it burnt the roof of my mouth a bit, but it was better tasting than I thought it was going to be."

"The lady taking our order heard that Josh wouldn't eat anything on the kids menu and let him have the chicken nuggets with two kid sides. He picked fries and grapes."

"Kaiti and I also had side Caesar salads, they were just ok."

"Jon, Josh and Kaiti had chocolate gelato. They liked it. Jon said it tasted just like ice cream.

Josh enjoyed it the most..."

"Weee...I'm all done mom!"

Big Top Circus

"The kids tried Big Top Circus snacks. It smelled so good in there."

"Kaiti had the candy apple. She said it was yuck and the candy was melting, so she tossed it."

"Josh had the Mickey head rice crispy treat. I tried to take a bite and almost lost a finger. I guess he really liked it?
He wasn't in a sharing mood today."

Sticky Wings - Glazed Chicken Wings with tangy Mustard Drizzle and Toasted Sesame Seeds


"Tim enjoyed every one of his wings."




Then for his entree, Tim had...

Teriyaki Style New York Strip - sirloin strip grilled with pineapple teriyaki glaze served with sticky rice and stir-fried broccolini


"He loved it - but wouldn't eat the broccolini, and I couldn't because I was soooooo full!"

Pan Seared Duck Breast served with mung, adzuki and cranberry beans with chorizo sausage and spinach in a tamarind gastrique


"I was going to order the Kona salad - and I should have - but I got the duck instead - it was delicious, but I wasted most of it. Bad Ellen!"

"I have been dying for my kids to have a Kona cone forever - this is our ADR that always seems to be cancelled. So he finally get it - and it's a Kona bowl! A git less drama, but Tim still enjoyed it."

"Glad I finally got to try Kona at dinner time - reasonably priced and yummy, we'll be back!"

She said, "We hit the MK early, so we just had a quick breakfast in the room.

For lunch we went to Columbia Harbor House and had our old standby ….

"It was good as always and the apple crisp was pleasantly warm. But, even though we were there early …. It took forever to get our food."

"This was a really HUGE sandwich and I am glad we shared it. It had apples in it which I thought was interesting. I thought it was really good and DH did as well. The bread was awesome."






"We shared a red velvet cupcake for dessert..."

"And here’s what it looked like inside..."

"It was good, but very sweet. It was huge as well and I am glad I had someone to split it with."

Good morning everyone and TGIF!


We have already received some updates this morning, so I'll try to get the posted before I have to leave for work.

Our First Update of the Day was sent to us by Kayleigh (KMarston) from her lunch yesterday at DHS'...


Pizza Planet

"Everyone chose the meatball sub. It was quite tasty and Carla and I couldn't finish ours but the boys helped us out! Jimmy and I chose the Caesar Salad for our side and the kids had chips! The Cappuccino Cupcake looks divine but Jimmy and I didn't care for the icing, though we did enjoy a few bites of the chocolate cake underneath."





Then for dinner they went to...


50's Prime Time Cafe

"This was our first visit here and we really enjoyed it!"

"We were so hungry we forgot to take pics until we had started eating! Chris and Jimmy both had A Sampling of Mom's Favorite Recipes. Fried Chicken, fork tender pot roast, and meatloaf with greens and mashed potatoes. Everything was delicious and they raved over the pot roast!"

"Carla and I had the Aunt Liz's Golden Fried Chicken with mashed potatoes and greens. Carla had the root beer float which she finished before her dinner arrived!"

"The best part about dessert was choosing it through the viewer! Chris chose Dad's Brownie Sundae.
It was delicious but he wasn't able to finish it!"

"Carla LOVED the s'mores which she did finish!"

"I had the Apple Crisp ala mode! It was good but I could only handle a few bites!"
