Though we received many more updates yesterday from our Disney World reporters, I will be honest with you and say that last night I just didn't feel like posting them. After hearing about the senseless tragedy which occurred in Connecticut, I had no words...all seemed woefully inadequate. So I decided to let the Live thread remain silent for the evening and instead spend the time enjoying the company of my family, including all three of my children.

I will now attempt to get caught up with the updates, but today happens to be my baby boy's 17th birthday so I will not make you any promises. My thoughts this morning are also with another mom and her "baby boy", who is being deployed to Afghanistan today.

I pray for Chad's safety and quick return to those who love him, as well as for all of our troops serving their country overseas. And for the heartbroken families of Connecticut, may God give you the strength to get through the difficult days ahead.

Barb - I am beyond grateful and so honored that you thought of us in this special way. When I sent you the PM I hadn't been on the boards most of the day since we were getting prepared to fly to Tx.

Thank you for remembering that special day for me. I am so very glad that you were able to spend time with your son on his birthday and celebrate with your family.

grrrlennyl said, "This was the best vegan meal of my trip. The chef was very nice and took me on a tour of the buffet. There were tons of things that I could eat and everything was good. I had the something (raspberry?) lemonade though, and that had a pretty strong fake sweetener taste."
