Liberty Tree Tavern

1/2 of a Colony Salad - Washington apples, sweet pecans and applewood smoked cheddar, dried cranberry Craisins, and grilled chicken tossed with field greens in honey shallot vinaigrette (split in kitchen prior to being served).


Rachel said, "This was the lite lunch I needed and very good."

Ooey Gooey Toffee Cake - vanilla cake with a gooey toffee filling, vanilla ice cream and caramel sauce


Rachel said, "This is one of my favorite desserts in all of Disney World!"

KONA CAFE

Macadamia Pineapple Pancakes
Served with Macadamia nut butter, pineapple sauce, and your choice of ham, bacon or sausage (this was shared by Lacey & DD13)

Big Kahuna
French Toast, pancakes, eggs your way, home fried potatoes, ham, bacon, and sausage ( ordered by both DH and DS)

From the Kid's Menu: Donald's Choice
One egg, quacked and scrambled, with sweet cinnamon toast. Choice of bacon, fruit cup or sausage. (DD8's choice)

I expected to love Kona and it was just good, not great. Partly, I blame myself. I was called to those pineapple macadamia nut pancakes because of all the great reviews on here. But actually, I prefer savory to sweet so I should have ordered something else. They were ok but not the best pancakes I have ever had. The bacon was good and crispy though and the coffee was wonderful.

Their overall ratings for this meal: Lacey - 7, DH - 8.5, DD13 - 8, DS11 - 10, and DD8 - 8.5​
