We are taking our DS :earsboy: for his first trip to Disney in July 2006. I have back problems and need a comfortable bed. The last hotel we stayed in had beds so hard we might as well have been sleeping on the floor! :( The places we are considering at the moment are Buena Vista Suites, Hawthorn Suites LBV, Caribe Royale Suites and Embassy Suites LBV. Any thoughts on which one(s) have the most comfy beds and chairs? :confused3

The Residence Inn LBV on Palm Parkway has great beds. They have the Tempur pedic type matresses. Most comfortable hotel bed I have slept on. The hotel is very nice also. Great breakfast included.

I cant comment on those but we just got back from the swan/Dolphin and i loved those beds! There called the westin heavenly beds, you can look them up on the internet www.westin-hotelsathome.com they are soooo comfy!

The beds at the Swan/Dolphin are wonderful!!! They are the same beds that the Sheraton Safari has!! (I know owned by the same parent corp). I would start my search there. Also that westin link would be a great resource too.

Thank you all for replying to my post. :earsgirl: However, we are looking for a suite for under $180 after taxes and fees. Residence Inn looks good so far. The Swan/Dolphin look awesome, but the suites are out of our price range. The suites at the Sheraton and Westin locations near WDW have the same problem, lovely but suites are too much. Thanks again for the suggestions. If only $ was not a consideration ... :wizard:

Sheraton Safari is supposed to have really comfortable beds. It's on their website. Good Luck!!

Having slept on Sheraton's "Heavenly " beds, I can tell you they truly are heavenly! :goodvibes I've been chacking the Sheraton Safari for a trip in December and their Best Rate price is now at $89/nt. It's in a great location... lots of restaurants and very near Downtown Disney.

It's an option you might want to check out... a Dolphin/Swan bed at half the price! :teeth:

Any one have an opinion on the comfort of their beds and other furniture? :confused3

Has anyone stayed at the Hawthorn Suites LBV? How comfy is their furniture? :confused3

We stayed at the Buena Vista Suites and the beds were average - comfortable but not "heavenly". Great free full breakfast in the morning though.
You may also want to try the Staybridge Suites in Lake Buena Vista. They have very nice beds and plenty of room in the suite - full kitchen. They also offer free breakfast and are about 1.5 miles from the entrance to Downtown Disney. Depending on the time of the year the cost should be under $180.

Has anyone stayed in a suite with a recliner and two beds? I have found a few recliners in rooms or suites with one King bed but not with 2 beds. Please help! We are making reservations soon for summer of 2006! :cool1:

One thing to note--if you have down or feather allergies, those "Heavenly Beds" are actually MISERABLE beds. The Swan and Dolphin will not guarantee the bedding will be removed from the room and replaced with non-down/feather before you check-in, and if you arrive late it could be a couple hour wai for hosuekeeping.

Thank you so much, Anne, for this important information! DH does indeed have feather allergies. :earseek: I am glad to know about the "Heavenly Beds" so I can cross them off our list.
