Comfort Suites Maingate ?

We are staying one night pre-cruise at Comfort Suites Maingate, 7888 W. Irlo Bronson Hwy.. This stay is free (using points) and just wanting to make sure it is an ok/decent place for dh and I to stay with two kiddos for the one night pre-cruise. We have the option to cancel and would book something decent but cheap if this place is going to be awful.

Would love some honest opinions on the free stay vs. spending 70 bucks plus tax for a value on property (we will not be doing the parks before the cruise, just hanging out at Downtown Disney).

I think that the Comfort Suites Maingate East (different property altogether) generally gets better reviews. You can check on tripadvisor.com and they have lots of reviews.

Since it is the same chain, maybe you can easily switch. We have stayed there twice and really like it. We will be staying there again this summer.

We stayed there this time last year (after checking out of another motel) and it was fine. It's where we're planning on staying this year. My partner goes off to watch hockey and I stay in the room, and this was one of the few hotels I felt safe enough to go for a swim, buy dinner etc and come back to the room on my own. The pool is like a bath it's so warm! We stayed at Pop Century after it and we'd come back here rather than stay in the value just because the rooms are bigger. Of course things change so someone may have been more recently with another opinion, but it certainly wasn't awful
