I'm gonna slightly change the subject here, (imagine that!).
So we just recently heard of some really eeeeewww stuff , well heres another eeeeewwww.

I can't speak for the women,,but from personal experience I would guess that about 1/4 of all men (at least a 1/4) do not wash hands after they use the bathroom,, be it the urinals OR the stall #2 !!! (I AM NOT ONE OF THESE MEN !!) Now think, when they leave the restrooms, THEY ARE TOUCHING EVERYTHING !!!!

Any comments ? :rolleyes1

:eek::eek::eek::eek::sick:

You can group women in your little study too! We were at Chuck E Cheese last month and I was in the restroom when a woman (with some butt ugly tennis shoes on I might add) in the stall next to me flushed and walked straight out the door. NOW, let's just remember you use your hands to play video games..............:scared1:

I went all over the place trying to find that person be it teen or adult(big shoes) and couldn't find them. I was going to ask them to go and wash their hands since there were small children slobbering all over the games and rides.:rolleyes1 I WAS SOOO GROSSED OUT!:sick: We were leaving thank God but I am sure she was just one of many that day!;)

I don't think that men are worse than women. Actually women have to wipe every time(I hope).............:rolleyes1

Boy this is a really gross thread......:eek::rotfl:

I wash my hands so much during the day that when I go on vacation, I don't wash them until I go back to work.

while the cs at the fort may not always be pristine. May i ask if any of you have been to another cg. I have been to some that the showers rooms were disgusting. Most of the county and state parks around here, have no housekeeping staff to clean them everyday. You are lucky if they have toilet paper in them. If they are not clean enough for me to use them, then i don't use them. We always have a choice.

The forts cs's are the very cleanest you will ever see.

oh by the way i am a man so mold on the shower curtain don't bother me at all. It doesn't just jump off and attack you. So i just don't touch where there is mold. I will take my chances with the mold rather than not showering on a hot summer day. They are cleaner than mine were when i was single.

Good lord people this is a cg after all.

Dan, I agree. Matter of fact I think just a few posts ago I said the Fort is among the cleanest campground restroom's I've been to. I mention the mold to give illustration to the fact that they are not "pristine" and "immaculate" like others might imply. There is clearly room for improvement. And yes, I've been to other CGs where such slips in cleanliness are not allowed: Southern Oaks in Ocala, FL and Mama Gertie's in Swanannoa, NC are the two I can think of that on every stay are immaculate. I remember the first time I went to use the restroom at Mama Gertie's and I walked in and immediately became aware of how clean everything was and realized I had failed to wipe my feet before entering as evidenced by the sandy tracks behind me. I had never felt guilty for not wiping my feet before entering a CG restroom before! Then again, I have been to some CGs where the showers were soooo dirty I couldn't take a shower because I'd have to have held my towel with one hand while bathing with the other because I wouldn't want it to touch the wall, or seat, or anything! And that was no state park either, that was a commercial CG I dropped decent money for!

I'm not trying to whine here, I thought that folks might find some concrete examples of the level of cleanliness helpful, since we all have different opinions of what "clean enough" is. For you, it is anything better than your bachelor pad shower. For others I imagine it is something north of that. ;)

:santa:
