I have seen on posts that this place ranks pretty bad among DISers. My DW booked one night there for our next trip because it says on the website that it has been completely renovated and that was completed in November 2003. Has anybody stayed since then? How was it? She booked mainly for the price ($67.50 a night) and the fact that it is for only one night.

I've stayed here twice, and one of the times being in 12/03. Our room sure didn't seem to be renovated by any means! The motel is ok, nothing exciting. As long as it's clean, we're happy. I would NEVER pay $60+ for it! No way!

I've seen people get it for $18 on Priceline! However, I wouldn't do a PL bid for it, due to some of the other 2*'s are motels I know I would not stay at.

If she's staying 1 night, she could get a decent 3* room for $30-$40 through PL! And resorts on PL can be bid for $60 at times!

Good luck with your decision.

I have stayed there several times and would never pay that price for it. (My husband wouldn't stay there again at any price - he hated the beds - thought they were very uncomfortable). I haven't stayed there in a couple of years, but always paid under $30.00 a night.

We stayed there last year (before renovated) in a family fin suite...and were very pleased with it. They may put more care into the suites? But everything for us was good! We would pay $60 a night, but there are better ones out there for that price or less.

I've stayed there several times and will be staying there again in may for a week and I think it's a nice place and worth the money. It is well kept , they have their own security gate and you can't beat the location.

We stayed in December of 2003 and I couldn't tell that it had just been renovated. But it was clean and a great location. Also liked the security and free continental breakfast. The rate on their website for that time period was $29.95 (under packages, but that just included a coupon book). If you're going to pay $67, I'd say the Cypress Pointe Resort is a much better deal (just got back from a stay there). I booked a two room suite for $63.88 through Hotelkingdom.com and was really happy to have the extra room. It's not that much farther away than the Comfort Inn LBV from DTD and I-4 (less than a mile, I'd say).
