I was hoping someone could help me. We are visiting the Orlando area (Disney and Universal) in March and have been there many times. My kids would like to do something different and suggested maybe a comedy show. Any suggestions? We did the Outta Control Magic Show when they were young but need something a little more grown up:thumbsup2 TIA

I don't know if this would be an option for you, but we all REALLY enjoyed Blue Man Group at Universal last year. The show was so much fun, no matter what your age! :thumbsup2 Not exactly a comedy club, but very funny!

We, too, have teens in our group and are leaning toward Sleuth's Mystery Dinner or SAK Comedy Club in Orlando. Reviews say both are family-friendly. They may have PG-13 material, but your group meets that parameter. We believe we've just settled today on Sleuth's since it is dinner and a show all in one.

Thanks for the info. We did Blue Man Group a few years back and it was a big hit. We were thinking Sleuth's also. When are you going? Maybe you can let everyone know how it is. We will be there in March:goodvibes

We went to Capone's over Xmas and my 18 year old thought it was funny and corny but she enjoyed it.

Not to hijack this thread, but I was wondering if I could ask you a few questions about Capones? We have a 17 year old and are planning to add this dinner show to the itinerary for our August trip.

What did you think of the food?

How long is the dinner/show?

Do many people buy the "dress up" stuff that is sold on the website? (fedoras, etc.)

Did you buy the souvenir photo that they take? Would you know the price of it?

Thanks so much :goodvibes .

We had considered doing Mickeys Backyard Barbecue as a special dinner event but Capone's is far, far cheaper at $29.99 pp.

For the price the food was ok. It was typical buffet food nothing special but nothing horrible.

Tge

Sorry phone sent before i was ready.

The show is about 2 hours. I didn't see many people dressed up.

The photo package was 30 you got a newspaper a mug shot and 2 keychains.

We went to the "hideaway" you were required to buy one drink per person but you get seated first and they play blackjack. You get chips for the amount you spend on drinks. Winner gets a prize, we didn't win so im not sure what the prize was.
