I loved looking at the pictures of all the new Disney stuff you guys got to do. It looks like JJ had a lot of fun helping paint the scenery too. It's really great that they get the kids involved in all different aspects of theater.

I hope your parents make it safely to your place! I imagine with your dad's health the anticipation of them arriving is a bit stressful. I am sure they will make it just fine though. (even with all the TSA new rules)

The trip to the dentist went well. He has a tooth absess and they were able to flush it out and give him antibiotics to hold him until he returns home.

They made it safely. No issues at the airport. The TSA people were wonderful. Mom said they were so friendly and they explained things very well to them. Dad had some problems following instructions, but they were patient, gave him time to respond and think it through. He did not have to take off his shoes.

Just wanted to pop in and say "hi!". I'm sure that you're enjoying the time with your parents.

It's definately a different visit than any other visit in the past. Dad is "helping" me with homeschool. Though JJ had to explain division to him and borrowing when you subtract. JJ had a small seizure this afternoon. Wasn't very intense but he was aware of it. He said it felt like he was choking and he just couldn't catch his breath. He rested after and is fine now.

Yes, it is great that the kids got involved with it. They all had a blast.

He is doing fine, better than Mom. She is having back pain. But we are going either to Sea World or DTD tonight for a little bit. She thinks she can do it.

They made it here just fine. The Sanford airport was very nice and small. Their flight was a good one. TSA went fine. I hope it's just as good on the return back.

We went to DTD to EoS for supper. My mom really has her hands full with my dad. He is a wanderer too. Some other friends met up with us and as they were talking my dad started walking away. I'm the only one who noticed. Stopped him before he got anywhere.

It is hard to watch our parents age, isn't it? I always heard about "when the child becomes the parent" but it didn't hit home until my mil moved in with us her last 7 1/2 months of life. And now I am seeing needs with my parents that they don't want to admit. Praying for you to have a good visit with them and for your dad to stay safe.

Yes, you read correctly, there is a "Dream Car" show at CSR and then the Mustangs will be at the Speedway. Sorry to hear about DH's car, we've been there ourselves. I know it will be hot, but maybe you can make it one morning before it gets too hot.

Grumpy is out the door today with another project in hand. This is the last week of classes then it's on to finals.

It is hard to watch them age. We hadn't seen them for over a year, but Mom and I talk every day, several times a day. It's just not the same. She has aged the most and my dad has made the most incredible improvements. She hasn't been feeling well, so she's stayed at home and we've taken Dad here and there with us. He had a blast a the playground. He went on sliding boards, swings, etc.

He's doing great. It's amazing how he is remembering things. Directions have totally stayed with him. Though last night I asked him if he'd like to go for Chinese food for his birthday and he didn't remember what Chinese food is. I was listing off different dishes, but he had no recollection at all. Mom said they ate at a Chinese buffet a few days before their trip here.

Thanks. His seizures are really doing much better. He went over a month without. I think they are back now because the hot weather is back.

Found 2 great Grumpy T-shirts for my oldest DS at the Turkey Lake Walmart on our way home from Sea World. The one is light blue and it says, " I'm one big ray of sunshine" the other is royal blue, has Grumpy pointing to himself and says, "This guy is Grumpy. He loved both shirts. I got a text a few minutes ago that he got a 100% on his project.

JJ has his homeschool showcase tonight.
