Hi MissMichelle,
Just stopping by to say hello. I've been lurking and decided to join the party! Your kids are cute and you and TC make an adorable couple!
My gang and I will be at POR 8/25-09/3, maybe we will see you there! I hate to wish the summer away, but come on August!
Don't feel bad, I've been wishing it away too
But it's for a GOOD REASON!!! If you see us don't be afraid to say hello! After all you all know what we look like in all our Disney Glory!

I got my croc capris oh yes I diiiiddd I got them last night Only $40 later.... wait..WHAT?!? 
TC almost croked when we were at Dicks last night and I bought them. After all we went there to start school clothes shopping for September (the kids start 1.5 days after we get home from WDW) and I realllly shouldn't be doling out more $$ on items for the trip . Little does he know I just got off the phone and added something else to our trip (shhhh! 
) Ok..I need to go finish up on the end of the 9/2006 trip because there is so much planning stuff I want to post right now about this next trip and I can't...it's jumping the gun--and I have a habit of doing that.

Well once my report and trip is done then I will be using the DIS to get my fix also since DH has made me promise and swear on everything I love that we will stay away from WDW for a bit...At least until after I start school and we get more financially stable. We aren't *broke* but we definitely could be building a better future with all the $$ I spend on WDW.

SO Day 6 started out a little later...TC hit the gym as soon as he woke up and he let me sleep in. That consisted of getting up just after 7:30. 
We , as usual, headed over to Pepper Market and grabbed a quick bite to eat and then caught the bus to AK just after opening...There was still a good crowd at the turnstiles so we booked it through the Rainforest Cafe and got past all those people...gotta love these lil helpful hints and tips.
From there we went for EE FP's and then rode standby with only 5 minutes to wait. TC loved this ride and it shocked me. I wish we grabbed the ride photo but TC had to make a bathroom stop and then we hit Kali River Rapids. I got SOAKED and wished we had saved it for later since I didn't want to feel so uncomfortable the rest of the day. AH well.
From there we headed towards the Maharah Jungle Trek which I love. Trae (my lil guy) talks about this from the last trip because he is fascinated with bats and he can't wait till next month to see them again. I just enjoy the *cats* and marvel at the gorgeous tigers. We skipped Flights of Wonder and backtracked for our EE FP time and got to ride in the front row---I LOVE THE FRONT!! I am going to try and get us in the front the next trip time we ride this great coaster
TC wanted a small snack at this point so we grabbed a danish and a drink from Kusafiri Coffee Shop where I snapped this photo shortly after (he was hot and tired)
I told TC about It's Tough to be a Bug and asked if he would be interested and of COURSE he said yes, he knows nothing and wants to see it all. This is always a cute show and a way to escape the heat that was now blazing outside. My son Trae HATED this show last year but funny, when he just came in the room and was reading my story he said "Mom, I can't wait to see ITTBAB again---the stink bug was so ewwww, and the bugs under your bum..hahahaha"....ummm ok, need I remind you--ok, nope I won't.
Speaking of bugs..look at this guy I saw in AK (where I am from the bugs can't be mistaken for house pets)
I was getting anxious to get over to the Safari and see what the wait time was...10 minutes!?!? WOw, lucky day--so we got in line and I called the kids and chatted while we waited and then we were off. I got a quick little video and snapped a few photos.
Such a relaxing and surreal ride. I just love the storyline also. And of course we rescued them, we always rescue them.
My belly starts grumbling and we grab lunch @ Tusker House (wahhh it's is leaving and it is on my tops for CS locations). TC got the fish and I got the chicken salad. Yummy as always and we watched some innocent folks get embarassed with a dance:
At this point I am pretty much done with AK and we head out and wait for the bus---which took over 20 minutes and I wished I had a bottle of water..Boy was it HOT. We finally boarded a bus to CSR with a driver in training and made it there in one piece.

It was good though and I enjoyed it on the way back to the room where we showered and got ready to head to Epcot for our ADR @ Teppanyaki.
We got to Epcot with just a few minutes to spare for our 4:30 ADR and checked in.
We were seated about 10 minutes later with a family of 4 and another couple. This part made me nervous at first, but we settled in and the waitress explained everything to us and brought us our warm wet towels to wash our hands (NICE TOUCH!). We are then given our sample of seaweed salad and then our orders were taken. I got the chicken and scallops and TC got the steak and shrimp--we shared and reallly love this meal. I think they only place we had a complaint about all week was Sci-Fi. But now Teppanyaki is on our must do...I can only hope it didn't change much during the rehab.
Tomorrow was check-out so we decided to do some shopping and take in the Food and Wine Festival (No eating!) So much fun watching belly dancers in Morroco and acrobats in China.These girls are amazing!
I bought the kids some items from China ---Trae some chopsticks with year of the dragon and Ashley a beautiful fan to add to her collection (I brought one home in 2/2006) We stopped by Mexico where TC posed for a photo:
and then made our way back towards Future World. Once there we decided it was time to get back for the night as we were getting "Disney'd out" (*WHAT?!?!?!??!?!) and stopped totake our photo for the Leave a Legacy. Glad we did since they have stopped this.
We turned in really early tonight but suddenly I am awoken to a sharp shooting pain in my tooth...One that effected me horribly the following day..You see, my dentist told me before I went I needed a root canal---but my insurance won't cover and I couldn't spend the quoted $1200 before my trip! No way!
My pain had held out all week and now this? I awoke Sunday morning knowing I had to end this pain as I had to fly. I went to Panchitos Gifts and bought some Advil and cold water and went to checkout. We used the resort check-in for the airline and then headed towards the pool to swim---our bus wasn't to pick us up until 3 for our 5pm flight. AT this point I am changing into my suit and the pain gets so severe I am CRYING. The heat got to me, the long days were wearing on me, the pain was pretty bad and I couldn't believe this was how my trip would end.
I made it out to the pool and just sulked into a corner. The pool felt refreshing and after awhile I gout out and layed on the side to tan for a bit , slowly feeling better. It was nearing 2 so TC and I headed over to Francisco's to grab chips, salsa and a drink (well he had a drink, I didn't) and I couldn't (or shall I say I didn't dare) eat any chips really..and I kept sucking the salsa off them...Good Salsa! I looked a wreck but tried to muster a smile for TC:
We got outside about 5 minutes before the Disney Cruiseline bus showed to get us.
Is it just me or is the video they show kind of depressing??? It attempts to make you spend $$ at the airport and brings Mickey and the Gang along for the ride!
I call home and am told that there is a storm in Boston. Not a worry at all we go through security and head to the terminal...where we are told we have a 2 hour delay....they inform us they'll update us when they can...There were so many stir crazy kids I was relieved mine weren't here for this. I went over and got a smoothie/energy drinks and then hit Sbarro's for chicken alfredo. It held me over and I people watched...Time passes and so do the 2 hours---Finally 3 hours AFTER the flight was the depart our plane arrives and we can board shortly after. I just want to be home with my darlings and in my bed...Again not a way to end a TR or a trip--but thats the way it was and it actually didn't help me lose the Disney fever...B/C here I am ready---READY TO ROLL So please don't feel bad for me, and even though I had a crappy ending keep stopping by, because it can only get better right??

Great end to the TR & looking fwd to the PTR
I wish I had kept my original plans and was going the end of September...It would have been funny to run into the most "evil dad" ever and watch some of your Trip with my own eyes.
Ah well, thanks for the continuing support...hopefully I get quiet time today (who am I KIDDING? Day off, my 2 kids home, babysitting my 1 year old nephew and errands to run) I really need vacation..
