Wow!!

I'm only on page 3...and I'm HOOKED!!!

We will be there the same time you are, Michelle!!

We are there 8/25-9/2. We will be at ASMo on the 25th, then over to SSR for the remainder of our trip!!! We are WAY TOO EXCITED!!!

We have 4 families travelling, well technically....but my Sis and BroIL are there for their 10th anniversary, so we will have the kids with us at SSR and they will be at POR for the week. It's OUR TIME with the kids!! YAY!!

With all the families, we will have 3-8yo's (all girls), a 5yo (boy)and a 2yo (boy)........lots of fun!!!

Would love to meet you guys!!

Miss Michelle, Have really enjoyed your pre-trippie! I have always loved boxers. My favorite aunt had a brindle and white for many years. Unfortunately, she (the dog, for those who don't understand dog deseases), developed hip displacement so terrible that she had to be put down. My aunt could never get another dog after Queenie. Good wishes for your babies!

I see that you are arriving the day after we are!!! We will be August 23-31st at All Star Music! Will be looking for you! We will have the lgmhs any place you look!! And one of my DGDs will have a lime green baggileni. So if you see us, 2 10yr old girls, a blonde gramma 5'9, stop and say hi!!!!

I absolutely adore my boxers. I think how lucky I am everyday I have my Emmy girl..SHe came to me as a rescue when she was 11 for a foster with rescue but I couldn't let her go. She was emaciated, had tumors all over and bad arthritis...You'd NEVER know it today. Love them to pieces.

Would love to meet you also! That is really cool that they are spending their 10th in WDW and while the kids aren't with them, the kids get to enjoy WDW also! I wish we had been able to do that on my last trip down (my KidLess trip) as it would have felt better knowing they were there having fun. I'm sure you'll have a blast with all those kids.

so I just get home from work and one of my new managers comes over and asks "How many days" where I proudly say "32!" and then realize that still seems like forever. A customer walks up and says "32 till what?" I said till vacation and when she asked where and I told her she talked SOOOOO BADLY about WDW we (me and my manager) wanted to strangle her!

Convo went something like this:

Customer: We did WDW last year and Universal this year, Universal is so much better"
ME: Why?
Customer: Because I hated WDW and will never go again, too crowded
ME: It IS summer, did you use any Fast Passes?
Customer: No you have to pay for them
ME: No, you don't.
Customer: Well all the restaurants were full and wouldn't take walk-ups
My Manager: Did you do any research before you went?
Customer: why would I research DISNEY? It is a theme park!

At this point she huffed and walked away. I was like, she must not have heard about the DIS HAHAHA. My manager wanted to follow her around and tell her to give WDW another try and tell her what to do next time. Oh well, can't please everyone.

SO I figured at this point today I will post some of my purchases and also my lanyards (mine and kids)...I'll go take some pics now and be back soon ---but leave here with this--More pics from my past trips!!!

Ok, so first I will post my Crocs Capris that I HAD to have. Now I will say they are EXTREMELY comfortable and I will be greatful for them in WDW since I alway skill myself wearing cheap Old Navy flip-flops but................Would I pay $40 for flip-flops if I WASN'T going to WDW? Even these? No. Probably not.
Anyway here is a picture (and yes I need to hit the spa and get these toes done, but you aren't looking at my toes....ARE YOU??

Ok, then there is Ashley's Lanyard..Mind you, she hasn't bought a single pin yet---I got all these my February trip (with the exception of the Pirate one that I got from EBay a few weeks ago)

BIG mouth water misting fan for TC that I got @ Target for just $7.99. We'll put ice in it since he is the cranky one in heat.

I got both the kids a second luggage set. They have smaller ones, so it was time for a step up:

Now I didn't post Trae's Lanyard...Seems he *Misplaced* it. But he assures me it isn't lost..He just doesn't remember where he put it..SIGH.

And the start of Disney Dollars---each kid has $65 right now...I told them they could bring $100 each and spend $10 a day. They like having their own $$ and though I thought that's a bit much we don't plan on going back for quite awhile.

I am still trying to get my hubby to love it, hopefully our September trip will be the push he needs to convert to the happy side! Just read your whole report, very good, I am toying with the idea of doing a TR with DW. But I would hate to have a report where not many people read, what is yours (and everyones secret to making the report a success?) We are down to 38 days and have thought about starting a pre TR.

I made it through!!! And guess what?? I want to read MORE!!!!!

Oh!! And am so interested in starting my own Pre-TR as well.......have I gone insane?!?!?!?

But First- I GOTTA go try on some of those crocs!!! I've got the regular crocs, and other than flops, they're all I wear!! Why not combine them....my flops, like yours are the Old Navy-kill your feet after a full day- flops.....I think these are a MUST HAVE for our upcoming trip!

We are pin traders too!! My DD (19), Myself, and all the kids (with exception to the 2yo) are going to be trading....yes, we've got them all hooked! Have stocked up on our ebay and net buys for pins, so we're ready to trade!

We tend to buy our kids "gifts" ahead of time, so we don't spend AS MUCH money in the parks. I've gotten SO MUCH for all of the kids, that we are going to have to rent an SUV to get to WDW this trip( I have a Taurus)! A BIT overboard, is an understatement!! Plus- My DNiece and DNephew are both having Bdays while we are there, so, being a cake decorator, it's a MUST that the DD and I make them cakes for a couple of our Dinners. Haven't called Disney, yet, to see if they can store them, or if we can bring them to the restaurants.....need to do that. Unless someone here knows the answer??

There are so many here that are going down the same week......I HOPE we run into some of you. I MUST post a picture of us on here, too! That may help!

YOU MUST post a picture Edited becuase I saw your Myspace and now know what you look like! I can stalk you in WDW! lol

It is an order, and a way of being here on the Dis. I will be posting my itinerary VERY soon so hopefully you can see where I'll be and when and we'll figure out if we will collide anywhere.
The crocs are a must for WDW. I LOVE LOVE LOVE these crocs and I am wearing them right now..I have been trying not to , but when I put them on for that photo I just couldn't take them off...Oooops silly me.
The gifts for the kids--well they have gotten stuff, but this is their own $$ from their birthdays (which fell 3 weeks ago and this Thursday) so I told them they can bring that $$ but only if we turned it into Disney $$ first. They were really ok with that since they love the looks of it

I thought mine would be a flop also--After all I am no TimandLesley, Blayne, Courtney, Glenda, Utah, and many more that you all know who you are so instead of beating myself up trying to think of mames I'll stop here. THe thing is I think you just need to add in info about YOU, that makes your story YOU and nobody else. Details are GREAT----especially embarrassing facts----we love those...OH and put pictures in wherever you can. For instance,
If you are telling a goofy story add a photo for visual. Makes for good conversation when I tell TC about someone I can actually show him photos :BIG CHEESY GRIN: I feel like I know the DISer more when I can see faces. Do I make sense?

I bought some Roxy's (surfer brand) in Destin and they are pretty comfy. I'm hoping that those 2 pair and my tennis shoes will be enough. I also have some "cheap" flip flops that I ALWAYS bring because I call them my "MINNIE flipflops" They are red with white polka dots. I just don't think I could spend another $40 on shoes since I already have some comfortable ones. You're trip is almost here!! Mine's still in the 50's on the countdown.

Itinerary!!!​

So I think it is time to start posting my Itinerary and also my surprises for the kids. There is a lot more I can add to this Pre Trippie, but I think that FACTS and the PACKED schedule will give you a good idea.

SO I have placed EVERYTHING into a WordPerfect document (as with every trip) and when TC saw it he got...SCARED. He asked if I planned any lazy days....I AM LAZY AT HOME. Geeesh.

8/24/2007 (FRIDAY)
SURPRISE NUMERO UNO:

LIMO SERVICE @ 5 am. We plan on waking the kids @ 4:30. Having them snack on nutrigrain bars and juice and TC will bring the luggage "Out to the car". He will yell up to me and say "WE NEED TO GO NOW" as soon as the limo arrives and I will usher the kids out and see if they notice the limo. Not sure how it'll play out, but I will be attempting some photos of this

So we fly in on Delta and are supposed to (if they don't change my flight AGAIN) @ 11:30 and I expect to be @ CSR shortly after 12:30. Hopefully we'll get our rooms right away if not it's ok--we are heading right to the pool.
Need to be @ CR for 5:00 for ADR's with

MICKEY @ CM's (kids wanted to see Mickey and gang ASAP and I said we would see him @ MK on our planned day--TUESDAY) They have no clue at this point that we are eating there--Trae said it was his fave last trip.

Pirate and Princess Party! I have the Tshirts we are all going to wear (guys in Pirates, me and Ash in Sleeping Beauty) Hopefully we can stay here fairly late because day # 2 doesn't have that early of a morning.

8/25/2007 SATURDAY

We will awaken and head to the pool hopefully for the opening ceremony (I want to say it's @ 8) and just RELAX. If we don't make this then it's ok. Breakfast will be in the room (I am ordering Garden Grocer for water and breakfast bars and other simple items)

lunch around 11:30 then head to the Studios at our leisure with our 1 day base tickets and Mama Melrose dinner then F!

8/26/2007 SUNDAY
SO SAD, check out from CSR and head to POR by cab as early as possible. This day we aren't FULLY sure how the morning will take us. I have 'Ohana scheduled @ 10 so we'll see if we make it there..If not it to AK for a few hours and then off to POR to change and freshen up for our ADR @ Teppanyaki. We want to take this day eay and finish it off with
SURPRISE # 4
a carriage ride through POR that evening.

8/27/2007 MONDAY
Typhoon Lagoon for opening (EMH) and then to POR for noonish. Rest and then head to Epcot a few hours before our ADR @ Le Cellier. Attempt to stay for Illuminations. I think we'll be fine...we are a GOOOOO GOOO GOOO family...

Yes, You purchase them @ The Disney Store and then use them instead of real cash ANYWHERE in WDW. You can buy food, souvies, photos, and MUCH more with Disney Dollars. The kids love them.

You can also earn them by taking surveys, etc at Sunshine Rewards. Since I can't post it here you can PM me for the link and more info if you're interested. I am just so excited about it that I want everyone to be able to get free Disney dollars! It's addictive!

They let me out of work early yesterday or else I'd never be able to get that many done...After all I have TONS of TR's I am READING also!

I so far haven't had an issue...Not sure if I can post the buyers names here that I used. But I just look for a pin I am interested in, check the persons feedback and bid--or buy it now if the price is right. The last ones I got were Pirate ones for the party and the 2 with shipping were $18....which really isn't bad at all since I wanted to give them before hand---little do they know it's because of the party

I'll post the itinerary for the last 6 days when i get home from work.

Thanks for the advice, I think we will start a pre trip report soon. Just have to come up with a cleaver title now. Maybe I will post a poll in my signature and have people vote on the title for our TR.

That might be a fun way to get people involved.
