I will def be around... I'm hooked. Besides what else do I have to do at work.... :rotfl: No really I love it. I like that you put a lot of details in. I feel like I know so much about you already.

There is a lot more detail if I can ever get to this upcoming trip part of the report. Like ummm why we moved the trip from Sept free dining to August free dining and more ;) It kind of has a lot to do with :teacher: but there is more to it.

I am here,loving the pictures!
Hoping we bump into each other in WDW in Aug.

Am still waiting for the update!!!!

I didn't take your remark badly. As I said, I smoke, but I try very hard to be PC when it comes to it. Obey the signs!!! On the monorail, don't they still say "no smoking"?

Anyway, am still enjoying your TR! Hurry back!!!

I'm still here! Reading and loving it! Thanks for posting!

:) Glad to have you still on board!

Good, I wanted you to stick around :) Yes they do still say that and for some odd reason the sign that was holding her up wasn't BOLD enough, or maybe it was me pointing out the sign...Whatever the case I am usually pretty laid back so hopefully that'll be the most major gripe I report ;)

I'll be posting another installment hopefully later...Just got in from a day on the lake boating with family so I need to shower and eat.

I hope you are going to post an update today! I really enjoyed the last one!

Thanks Cherbear!! I am actually trying to gather reciepts and photos to try and remember what we did the last 2 days (since I didn't write those days back when I did a TR). Hopefully I can have it up and done by days end....Lemme go work on it now instead of talking about it ;) :thumbsup2

Day 5

SO today we didn't really have any plans...We decided that we wanted to try out Typhoon Lagoon and I am SO glad we did. I LOOOOVE this place and actually planned 2 days there this coming trip! I am going to have to scan some of our underwater photos into the computer and add them to this TR at some point.

Today we didn't get our of bed and head to the Pepper Market until close to 8.The trip was starting to wear on us a bit and we needed to sleep in. It felt good and we arrive @ TL just after opening and get the usual locker and rent towels. We quickly make our way around CRUSH N GUSHER which we did 8+ times in a row going down a different slide twice each. I really liked this slide and we had A LOT of fun. I always had to be in the front I guess because of the weight. But fair warning--LIFE YOUR BUM---OUCHIE!

From there we make our way on over to the surf pool (better known as the WAVE pool) and hang out there for awhile, getting knocked over and "riding in" the waves. Those waves have SO much force.

At this point I remembered they have the shark reef and I tell TC we need to go buy a water camera to take photos so we head over and fork out $20. I am getting really excited as I read about the shark reef and I like the concept in a water park. It's just something "different". We are given our masks and we walk right up for the start of training---perfect timing. They tell us how to breath and inform us the water is cold (boy is it!). We are advised to *FLOAT* and not kick our legs. We are then led over to the pool where we sit on the side and practice breathing with the masks. And then it's time to go...I could stay in there FOREVER. I know it is mild compared to swimming with sharks/ stingrays on a tropical island but come on--ITS DISNEY and everything is wonderful and jaded to me! HAHA We did this 3 times in a row and got some great pics.

Once away from the sharks we hit Castaway Creek and just relax taking silly pics for the next hour or so. We are nearing lunch time so we run and do a few slides and head over to Leaning Palms where we grab lunch where I believe I got a chicken sandwich and TC grabbed a burger. We went back up for our ice cream after (as it would melt) and we just sat and people watched by the lagoon. We saw it getting cloudy and were afraid the sky would open up so we grab our stuff from the lockers and head out. Back at CSR we shower and dress for our 6:30 ADR @ Cape May.

We took the bus over to Epcot and wandered around the countries only making it to Japan where we turned around and headed out of International Gateway towards the Beach Club.

I had never been over there before and I found a new love---one I can't yet justify spending the $$ on, but someday...ahhhh to dream ;) We took some photos along the beach part there

and walked by the pool and checked out the Yacht Club. Trying to pass time we went to sit in the lobby until it was about time to check in for our ADR. Little did we know that after checking in we'd sit for another 45 minutes waiting to be called...It was BUSY. So we hung out with rumbling bellies, people watching, waiting for the buzzer go off...Good thing the Beach Club is so beautiful and relaxing.

After what seemed like an eternity we are called and are seated. Our waitress writes her name on the paper table cloth and takes our drink order. She explains the buffet and tells us to go when we are ready. There is a GREAT selection here and I really enjoyed the food--just wish that I hadn't waited so long to eat because by this point I felt more sick then hungry. TC had no problem though and loaded up on clams and shrimp. The desserts offered were great and I had it easier loading up there ;)

The waitress came over towards the end and and offered to take a photo of us and we liked that as nobody else had offered and we are not the type to ask. I wish we did though to get more shots (we didn't do ANY photopass pics) of us together.

We also engaged in conversation with a family from Jersey that bought into DVC and visit "The World" 4 times a year ( I WISH!). They tried so hard to talk us into doing a DVC tour and while we'd love to, it's just not in the budget right now (Why did the Beach Club make me question my budget this much?!? HAHA).

We decide to walk off the food and check out the boardwalk. The sun is just setting at this point and it looks beautiful there. It was starting to get lively and the street performers were out and about. We stop at a magician who had just rode his bike out and he was performing a few acts on the kids there. I ended up being called into a magic trick where my face must have stayed red the ENTIRE time. This magician was a wise guy and he really had me going at one point. My trick ended in a card trick and we crowd exploded in laughter and applause. I wish TC had taken video of it but he just snapped a few photos--this one is crappy, but you get the picture:

About 8:40 I told TC we better call the kids who had gone to their grandfathers for the weekend and say Goodnight, so we stroll along towards the Gateway back to Epcot chatting on the phone and telling the kids we'd be home in less then 2 days. We finally catch Illuminations IN Epcot over by America and it almost brings tears to my eyes. I think all the shows and parades @ Disney do this to me!

We then leisurely make our way towards the exit for the bus and call it yet another perfect day. Bus service was much quicker tonight and we make it back to the resort stopping @ Panchito's gifts for wine and beer then headed to the room where we saw a few small towel things left:

We changed into our suits and headed to the quiet pool. We only stayed for 30-45 minutes and called it a night. Tomorrow we were going to AK so I wanted to be up early to get there and get back to the resort for a midday break before dinner ADR's in Epcot.

Sigh...1 more "real" day and then the day I dreaded---but not because I was going home but because of the CRIPPLING migraine I got...Stay tuned to hear about that, the late DME bus, and the flight that was delayed 3 hours.

THE NOW: sorry, not as many photos but we really slowed down with the camera towards the end :(

So it is 38 days out and I got my DME package today. I opened it and they had all my arriving info, but said I didn;t have any flight info for departure...So on the phone with the wonderul people of 1-407-WDisney and we were back on track...Since I had the awesome CM on the phone already I added a tour (or 2) to our trip...You'll just have to stay tuned for that info. ;)

While at work today (I think I mentioned I work for BJ's Wholesale) I noticed new luggage. We have the cutest sets that are red with white polka dots, white with black polka dots and black with white polka dots..I thought the red one was very "Minnie Mouse" and want to buy it...But I have luggage and can't see paying $119.00 for a new set right now.

I also booked one of the kids surprises today which I'll post about soon and I went in search of my Crocs Capris that I want..THEY SOLD OUT OF MY SIZE...I am devestated at this point..I am praying they get more in within the next 37 days since I have looked everywhere online and no dice. I wish I hadn't tried them on (or at least bought them that day instead of stewing over it) so I wouldn't be stressing and would just deal with what I have. sigh..It really isn't THAT hard to please me ;)

If you have a Dicks Sporting Goods in your area they have a ton of Crocs & this weekend I bought to pair of Beaches one for DW & one for me for a wopping total w/ tax of 32.00 yes thats right 2 pair 32.00!!1

Enjoying your report and pics!!

Have you ever thought of renting DVC points on a future trip so you could stay at the Beach Club? You could rent a studio for probably the same cost or less than most of the moderate hotels - just a thought :confused3

I've been planning our trip for a few months now and have found we can stay at either the Beach Club or Boardwalk Villas in a studio for less than $120/night. We stayed at BWV in a 1-bedroom last trip (but paid rack rates - how crazy was that lol) and loved the atmosphere plus being able to walk to either Epcot or MGM.

I also wanted to tell you I love the idea of you combining your trips in one report - makes it so much fun to see how each differs (with and w/o kids).

That is where I tried them on, and I had the size 6 in hand and then put them down---went back and was going to purchase them and dun dun dunnnnn they were out. I am going to try again because the sales girl said they stock on Crocs regularly. Thanks for the heads up on the Beaches for that price!

I thought about renting DVC this year, but when it came time to booking for the free dining I just went with "what I know". But it is something I am going to look into for the next trip...The one I promised TC will wait until 2009....HAHA--he wants to do Lake George New York, or VA beach, or something different next year. ITS GOING TO KILL ME! :scared:

Thanks for posting that. I never realized it could be cheaper then a MOD!

I just wanted to say that I am really enjoying your report, and can't wait for the next installment!! Keep up the great work!:thumbsup2
