I've been doing pretty much the same thing - after a few tries, I just give up and do something else.

It worked for a couple of weeks, then, all of a sudden, no more access. I wish they could figure out what the problem is.

I can't believe it, I work all day without being able to access the internet (it is a wonder I got anything done) and no one bumps this thread to remind folks about chat. It is a sad, sad, situation. I'm so disappointed. My vacation is ruined. I expect a free vacation to WDW or you will be hearing from my lawyer.

Ah, it looks like it's not working again. You can log in with a Facebook or Twitter account. If you're concerned about your name being out there, you can always make a Twitter account with your DIS name and use that for chat.

I signed in with my junk mail Gmail account, then changed my 'nickname' to show as my name on the boards. Seems everyone who is signed in is signed in via Google, Yahoo, or facebook.
