I want to book for January - just a few days down to Disneyland or Disney World - not picky - toss us a deal!

Universal Orlando is doing a Canadian deal - come on Disney - your turn! These exchange rates are killing us!

I agree a Canadian deal of some sort would help us out tremendously. I had to shorten the length of two of my upcoming WDW trips and change my regular dining plan to a quick service plan because of the poor dollar, which is a loss/loss situation for both me and Disney : (

We moved our August trip which was supposed to be last week, to end of February... we've not yet booked our pre Christmas trip which has become a family tradition - a deal would be very, very welcome about now. ;)

It is tough to know what to do with the dollar situation. We have a November free dining booking. We chose a deluxe resort because the free ding made that possible. In retrospect a moderate wd have been better given the dollar. But now the free dining moderates are booked.

We're staying at the Drury Inn and got a Canadian Resident deal off their website. $781.90 US + tx for 10 nights September 14-24 for a room with two queen beds. I thought that was decent especially considering the good reviews on tripadvisor, its location, free shuttles to Universal and Seaworld, and several other inclusions at no additional charge (hot breakfast, kickback dinner, three alcoholic drinks per adult per night, pop and popcorn from 3-10pm, wifi, etc.) With four of us in the room, this will save us a lot in our food and transportation budget.

Sorry I am in BC and had no power - but the deal I got was $94 a night for Canadians for staying at one of the Universal hotels - not sure which and I dont have the email anymore.

I looked into booking ten days for Sept/Oct 2016 at one of Disney's "value" resorts. I really do hope that a Canadian deal is offered 'cause that exchange rate is a real deal breaker.

We have the money to go, are itching to go but when you factor in the exchange rate it's a no go. Can't justify adding at least a thousand dollars to an already expensive vacation.
Sorry Disney but you are on hold till either you give me that at par deal you gave me years ago or the Canadian dollar comes back to the land of the living. You better get that deal back because the dollar ain't getting better anytime soon.

We have been looking at a trip for next year and have pretty much decided to head to Canada's east coast instead of into the US because of the exchange rate. A deal from Disney might change that. ;)

I'm planning like the dollar will bounce back (we're going November 2016), but if we don't head towards the 85 cent territory by mid-August, I will have to start cancelling. I figure I can't be alone in this, so I'm hoping they come out with a deal for Canadians.

I planned for Hawaii when our dollar was at par, which was an incredible deal, but we actually went on the trip just after the free fall started and every time we took money out of the ATM we winced. I'm not eager to do that again.

WOW! I would take a par deal in a heart beat. It would be like a 25% off across everything!

Not holding my breath on any huge deals though. There is no real need for Disney to entice us to come ... they're operating at close to capacity at most resorts throughout the year ... we only represent a small portion of that # If i'm not mistaken the last at PAR offer happened pretty close to 9-11 and no one was traveling! Correct me if I'm wrong ... I often am as my kids are quick to point out :P

We went late August last year for 2 weeks. I'm so glad we did since now that the dollar has dropped like a stone, we won't be heading into the States, much less Disney, until it recovers to something less painful - please above $0.85. We usually plan to go every other year so it really hurts to have nothing to look forward to but unless I win a portion of Friday's Lotto max - Disney is a no go.

We were at Disney back in January 2015. When we started booking last year at this time, things were still very good. We got some good chunks of our trip pad off before the dollar really started to fall. The hardest part was that the the lower interest rate announcement happened while we were on the trip, and the dollar went down quite a bit while we were on the trip, so the final bill that we go at the end was a tougher pill to swallow!

We would love to go back sometime soon, and a deal for us Canadians would be awesome, but I am not being to optimistic!
