Come on AP Rates!!!

Hi i'm hopeing someone can help me out. I'm at work and can't call right now.

Can someone check for WL 12/12-12/15 with the AP discount??

I don't have access to the AP site because i'm not getting my pass until Dec. Thanks in advance!

THey don't come up for your range but do for 12/12-12/18 weird. Seems like they like to book certain blocks of dates as well and the last night is at rack! I checked those dates for someone else and just rechecked since I thought it was weird.

I've noticed this before too and I agree, its bizarre

That's all the help I can offer for the day and Mommy needs to back away from the computer and get some stuff done! Best of luck to everyone with their bookings!

Hi everyone,
I called for the AP rates for the Club level at Yacht Club and found out my bounceback offer was better than the AP rates to the tune of $400! Where are the perks for AP holders?

Are you serious? Since when is there a minimum stay requirement for AP? That is ridiculous.

EDIT: Just got off the phone with a CM who said that some of the resorts DO require a specific number of nights to get an AP discount. Has anyone heard of this before? Does it say anywhere that a minimum stay is required?

**I got the rate and the DDP!**

I am all set! He says I am the first one all day to get the combo of the room rate and the DPP!

Hooray! :dance3:

I'm happy with the discount on the YC water view, but I'd be even happier with YC standard view...at 42% off w/DDP it would be almost exactly the same price as our AKL standard package w/FD. Looks like the Epcot resorts have really limited availability with this discount, though.

Got our GP room only discount switched over to an AP room only discount this morning... only saved $10 (we're staying 2 nights at ASMu before our DVC stay at AKV) but I had to call anyway to add ME flight info so I thought I might as well save a few dollars - can buy a Mickey Bar and Dole Whip with the extra!

Now to get the CP reservation made next week and all our plans will fall into place!

well playing around on the online AP site..i changed my arrival date by 1 day and was able to get the discunt including dining at POFQ!!!!!

we were booked at CBR, with AP discount +dining....and i was getting happy about that...but was thrilled to get workable dates for my favorite resort..POFQ!!
did not save as much as i would have with the CBR ressie..about $120 less saving by switching to POFQ...but to us it's worth it!

also....i called while i was online looking at the availability to just change my ressie over...the CM could not see anything avail. at POFQ..even though i was looking at it online. i ended up booking online and having her cancel the other ressie!

so stuff shows up online that doesn't show up on their system!

now working to adjust ADR's for our adjusted travel dates.

I just booked WL for 12/13 - 12/16 with the passholder rate, so it worked for only three nights. Only thing is, the lowest room category I could book was Woods View/Bunk Bed. This was the cheapest category available no matter what dates I was putting into the system. This only saved me about $20 off the GP code from yesterday, but I guess every little bit helps!

Just to add.. As far as best "deals" go, there were also some rooms available at the Poly for my time period for $211.70 a night.

:)

CM I talked to said she didn't see anything online for AKL on my dates (12/2-12/12), but when I went on the website, it did show rates with the partial discount (weeknights only). I think some people might go for that if there's no other choice...it might still be cheaper than their original package.

We were considering buying an annual pass IF it would save us on our December room reservation. Is there any way for people not yet passholders to see what's available, when and for how much? I know you can't BOOK without a pass, but it would seem beneficial to encourage non-passholders to sub if they could see what they're "missing."

You can book without the pass, you just need the pass at checkin. You have to call to do that. Go to mousesavers. com for the rates and discounts percentage for AP. The GP and AP rates are not that much different so the savings most likely won't be worth the cost of an AP if that's the only reason.

Somehow I totally missed this today after checking each and every day!

Just called and was able to switch from the GP room only code yesterday to a BCV studio and saved about $26. I was also happy about the switch from a regular room to a DVC studio as that was what we wanted.

Well, now my TA has come back from the dead, and somehow she got a reservation for AKL savannah view with the 30% discount for our entire stay. She said the CM on the phone quoted her a much higher price (partial discount only, which is what it shows online), but then when the confirmation came through, it was the lower price. So...it's decision time.

Well, maybe not yelled at, but talked to strongly! LOL
I made a new AP plus deluxe dining ressie on-line and then called to cancel the package I had booked with 40% off and a one day base ticket with deluxe dining. And he got really upset and told me to not ever do that again because they could modify the exisiting package ressie.
I don't get why he was so mad? Do CM's get commission or something? :confused3

Bizarre.....Totally, Bizarre!! You did nothing wrong! If it's easier to get in online to get what you want, you need to do that. The important thing is that you called to cancel the one you didn't want.

I just made a different reservation online (this one with the AP discount) because my TA has not answered 3 e-mails, so I went ahead and did it. I will have to tell her to cancel the one she made for me in July as well. This one was an upgrade, though, and not part of the TA block so it had to be a new ressie.

There sure is not a lot of AP availability this Fall. Kind of slim pickings for us this time. I was not able to call in or go online early to do this due to a work meeting, so I probaby missed the best opportunities.

No....you didn't miss anything if you're looking for a villa! I've been looking & it was slim then....only OKW & SSR left for the dates I was using. I was looking for either mid Nov or early Dec!!! All gone!:sad2:
