I applied to do Camp America this summer which is a program where applicants from the UK, Europe, NZ and Australia are selected by summer camps in the USA to work for them for around 9 weeks running various aspects of the camp and such. Well until about a week ago there were a substantial amount of people in the program who hadn't been placed in any camp because many America parents weren't sending their children to camp because of, dare I say it the economy situation, of which I was one of these people. Well finally I've been placed and I'm so excited!!!

I'll be flying Virgin to Newark staying overnight in a hotel run by Camp America and then after that I'll be on my way to a camp in Connecticut for 2 months working as a lifeguard and assistant head girls councillor! All in just 6 weeks time!!! I am beyond excited!!

Hopefully I'll be able to fit in some travelling at the end, top of my list is New York (bring on the NY Disney store!) and Washington DC followed closely of course by Orlando!!
