I have both for internet. Comcast for TV. Verizon for phone. (I know,a ball of confusion...).
I keep getting great offers from Verizon to switch my TV and pay $99 for all for 1 year,no contract, OR $99 for 2 years WITH a contract.
My question to you all with Verizon;are you happy with Verizon TV? What do you generally pay for phone/internet/TV a month with Verizon?
Thanks in advance.

my area i have Verizon and cablevision
Verizon PROS
great hd quility better then Cablevision
Cons
they tax everything
PPV are more then cablevision ( i watch alot of the wwe events)
you pay for 411 calls unless they changed it
trying to get to a manager when you have a problem good luck !!!!
they messed up on our instillation that we did not catch till alot of dammaged was cause so we sued and won!!! but do not get me wrong this could of happend with any company too .
I would love to go back too Verizon but i cannot for how i was treated by them . this to me is one of the hardest ??? that you have too make because i do not know comcast but i would bet they would have some pros and cons too good luck on choosing .

Verizon fios is the best internet we have ever had. The fios tv was good, but we like DTV better. Fios has great HD.

Your bill is not going to be 99 with either company. Call both companies and have them price out:

activation & installation
cost per box for each tv
hd fee
dvr fee
taxes & fees
any other fees for equiptment (modem routers etc)
& with any cont5ract ask termination fee & if prorated

You want a total monthly cost with all taxes & fees.

Honestly we did not like Verizon at all when we had them for TV, Phone, and Internet we did not recieve as many features for the money and refuse to go back though we can get a cheaper price with Verizon things to consider are whats included aka. Channels, On-Demand, Caller-ID etc. We found Verizon internet to be extremely slow and just a pain. We refuse to even consider going back.

Verizon FiOS is better for Internet. By a hundred miles. For roughly the same price you'd pay for 15/5 from Comcast, you can get 25 symmetrical from FiOS. There's no bandwidth cap, and once the traffic leaves your home, there's no competition for space on copper to the CO. Top-shelf, all the way.

For television, Comcast and FiOS are pretty close together. FiOS is a bit better, in terms of how consistently they provide superior video quality on some channels, but, in many areas, its regular prices (the ones you pay after the come-on prices expire) are higher for the same services.

Verizon is also pretty notorious for billing problems, and how difficult it is to resolve them. (To be fair, AT&T U-Verse is the same, in that regard. Probably, in both cases, a reflection of the fact that their billing systems were built to deal with the very complex world of telephone tariffs during the time of regulation.)

...for taking the time to help me out. NowI'll have to do some work and decide!
