But this might be a good thing for Disney. In case you dont know on Fox news today they stated that Disney is $12 Billion in debt. As part of the merger Comcast would assume this debt as well as majority of the stock. As Disney is going now they can not continue as is... in short Disney needs help. I have seen numerous posts on here that the magic of Disney is slipping away due to cutbacks and price increases on everything,stores closing etc.. Maybe comcast can save or help this company. Who knows until they are given a chance to try. One other thing certain is that Comcast would own all rights to all of Disney's films. Comcast being a cable company would be able to show any movie they want at any time they want (On Demand for example). We wouldnt have to wait any longer for this movie or that movie to be released and then taken off the market for a future re- release. This is just IMOP.
