My DH and I are planning a trip to Disney in September and are going to fly Southwest. The total credits needed are 30,960 and he has just under 28,000credits. I have 2 old award credits = 2,000 credits.

Hoping someone can answer my question:

Will they allow us to combine our credits and purchase the remaining credits to bring the total to 30K?

TIA

Doubtful. They are usually sticklers for that. Best chance would be to request, in writing, for any variance from their normal TOS.
We've got about 4K to 5K in points sitting in five different kid's accounts that we are trying to figure out how best to work with now.

No they won't let you combine. What you should do is buy one way tickets. Buy as many as you can under the account with the 28,000 points. Then for the last ticket buy points to add the 2,000 account or to the other account whichever needs the least amount of points. If the cost of buying the points is more than the plane ticket then just pay cash for that one ticket. HTH!

Thanks to both of you for your suggestions. I hadn't thought about buying separate tickets - good idea. I am definitely going to check that out.
