? combining ridemax and hydroguy tips

1. When building the spreadsheet, I don't worry about FPs, right? I would just use Hydroguy's FP tips later when I'm putting my own itinerary together.

2. Do I need to build another spreadsheet for Tuesday since it has MM hours or will the Monday one I'm doing be pretty much the same?

3. Are the weekend wait times a lot different from the weekday times? Should I do another spreadsheet for Sunday using Saturday's wait times?

I really appreciate all the help you DL veterans give to us DL newbies. Thanks!

I assume you're right with number 1 (it's just to show you standby wait times).

For 2, Magic Morning will make the morning waits quite a bit different (definitely popular Fantasyland rides, and possibly Space Mountain and Nemo). Hopefully someone else can tell you for sure, but in the meantime, I am not SURE if you need to make a new plan for the whole day. However, I would DEFINITELY re-do the first couple hours and I imagine that Tuesday is a little different than Monday throughout. But that may end up being a lot of work for not too much of a return. So as you go, you should be able to figure out if the wait times for the rest of the day are sufficiently different to justify the effort of doing a full day's plan, or if you're OK with using Monday's data to fill in the blanks. (I reckon that in some cases there are HUGE differences but for some weeks I wouldn't be surprised if there's not much difference except for the MM effect.)

For 3, I would just reuse Saturday's (or print a second copy if you wish). I don't see any point in re-doing the whole spreadsheet; I imagine that's a lot of work, duplicating that data!

Have a great trip!

Right. :thumbsup2

It depends how much work you want to put in, but MM days at DL will be different than non-MM. I build separate ones for MM days vs. non-MM.

Once you get to full summer schedule, no. But you are on the cusp and I suspect RM may have differences. You should run a few rides to check. Sunday will almost always be identical to Saturday so use Saturday data for Sunday.

Again, it all depends on how much you want to do. If you enjoy putting together the spreadsheets and they are different each day, then do it. If it feels like chore for you then you may want to put together the weekend versions and just use those every day.

Thanks for the quick reply, HydroGuy! I am a planner and I know that by putting a little extra effort into my planning now will pay off once we are there. So I'll make one spreadsheet for Sunday using Sat. info from RM; one for Mon. and Wed.; and one for Tues. since it is a MM day. I hope the wait times won't change too much between now and when we go as I am going to need to start setting them up now. Besides planning for DL, I'm also planning our sightseeing activities for Yosemite and San Francisco! :-)

Okay. I'm convinced! Since we'll be going the first week in August and it has been 5 years since we've been to DLR--how and when can we subscribe to "Ridemax"? Thanks

Does Ridemax provide Sunday data? The last time I used it (2008) it did not.

No it doesn't but it was recommended to use Sat. info from Ridemax for Sunday itinerary.
