Combining multiple reservations

I saw this question posted a couple of times with varying responses so I thought I would share my experience. I had 5 separate reservations for 6 nights at BWV in a garden view studio. I emailed member services a request to combine them into 1 reservation. In less than 1 hour I had a response from member services with all of my reservations combined into 1 reservation and I was able to see the "new" single combined reservation online.

Now I only have to figure out what I'm going to do for the next 66 days waiting for the time to pass until our trip.

That's great! Wonder why they didn't already do this for you automatically.

I made the reservations online and then a wait list came through. I'm guessing they didn't do it automatically because they thought I was doing some type of dining plan for various days and didn't want to assume I wanted them combined. Not sure, just a guess. I'm okay with that though. I would rather they don't modify my reservations in any way unless I specifically ask.
