CNBC just said that Comcast announced they will not raise bid!

So, in the scheme of things, what exactly does that mean? I got earlier that we were safe on the whole comcast issue because of the new increase in stocks.

UGH! I hate when I can't figure out what is staring me in the face!

I just heard on "Closing Bell" that Comcast has requested an immediate meeting with the Disney Board....Be afraid, very afraid!

Convienent that they just happen to be in town huh?

Disney is still in play. Let's hope the board (Eisner) doesn't play let's get even.

It's not convenient, their headquarters are in Philadelphia.

Oh but a tangled web. It is so obvious now that Mr. Disney has ruined Ei$ner's wonderful little scheme...namely to have the meeting in Philly, and to announce the news that the company has merged (read: sold out to) with ComCast.

But with the glare of scrutiny, and the fact that ComCast has felt (rightly so, we know now) that Ei$ner's smooth talking promises could not be backed up with results amid shareholder dissent, maybe just maybe The Third Way will happen.

Sounds like if Comcast does not buy Disney, there is always hope for another company.
