Are coloring pages or activity books given out to kids to keep them busy at restaurants. Or should I plan on packing my own. With three small kids, we need something to keep them busy while waiting for meals to arrive. ONLY 39 DAYS LEFT AND WORRYING ABOUT THE SILLY STUFF!!! :artist:

This is a great question. Does anyone know?

Most restaurants that have regular menus have an activity sheet. We found that it is the same sheet at most restaurants too! DD got bored very quickly when getting the same sheet the 3rd time out. I ended up bringing a coloroing or acvitity pad in the backpack for keeping busy at dinner when she was younger. We never got any kind of sheet at buffets and other AYCE places.

Agree with this. Bring some coloring books and stickers of you own to keep the kids occupied.

Some places have them and some don't. Cape May Cafe actually has paper covering the table and they give you crayons so anyone can color. We have had some pages at WCC, 50's Prime Time Cafe and Mama Melroseas well.

Also not all resturants have crayons!

Yes! At Kona they give you only 2 crayons that are blue and orange. That irritates DD to no end! So I also brought a small pack of crayons too.

I know at one point the rose and crown only had red crayons which annoyed so many kids

I always pack a blank sketch pad and the fat no roll crayons, so i don't have to keep picking them up!!!

There *were* coloring pages at WCC when we were just there in March, but we had to ask for them. I had seen them sitting near the fireplace, so I knew to ask for them. They also had crayons, but I also had to ask for those. Can't hurt to put a small pack of crayons in your backpack, though!

WCC still had them in July. We didn't have to ask though. Our server brought them right out to the kids.
