Colorado DISers ... where are you ?

Welcome to fellow Coloradoans!!:goodvibes

Beautiful week ahead...though whatever buggies are out are driving me bonkers on my walk into work. I am pretty sure some people thought I was bonkers the way I was swatting at them this morning:lmao:

arrgghh! Everytime I am idle on this site or navagate away, I have to log back in. (yes, I'm selecting the Keep Me Logged In option)

I'm not sure what DS and I are doing today - going to head out for a while though and see what we find.

Hello, fellow Coloradoan's! Just got back from a quick 15 minute walk, beautiful outside.

I had to do the grocery thing today... scandalous what they're charging for veggies now! :scared:

Hope everyone is having a lovely day!

I know what you mean. Went to the commissary on Saturday about fell over when I saw the prices.

it's terrible what they are charging for everything!!:scared:

A suburban??!! YIKES!

It's hard filling up my VUE... and I'm sure it's only going to get worse. :sad2: :scared: :sad1: :headache:

You all were talking about favorite restaurants earlier in the thread - we love Cinzetti's. DD asked if we could celebrate her birthday there, so we did (yesterday). Great restaurant! DD loves the canollis and the crepes. And the lasagna. And the garlic potatoes. And the pasta. And the pizza. Oh, and did I mention the canollis?

Another vote here for Moosehead Cantina - love the rellenos there. I used to work at the Fed Center, and that was a favorite lunch haunt.

Ya, I know quite a few people who go there for lunch. We usually go to Tott's or Old Chicago for their pizza buffet.

that sounds fabulous!!

Nationally milk is now cheaper by the gallon than gas...but I go through a whole lot milk than gas a week.

I can't wait for the farmer's markets to be in full swing...if prices are going up I want that extra money going straight to the grower!!

UGH....Filled up my gas tank today in my Mustang. I STOPPED the pump at $50.00!!! It was not that long ago it cost $30 to fill it.

Favorite restaurant ---

For a different experience, Mataam Fez (http://mataamfez-denver.com/) YUMMMY Allow 1 1/2 to 2 hours for the entire meal though!

For upscale, but not uppity dining- The Palm (http://www.thepalm.com/sitemain.cfm?site_id=12) -- EXCELLENT steaks and prime rib. Have not had a single bad thing here!
We eat at The Palm about 4 times a year. We are both members of the 837 club, so as long as we eat there one time before our birthday each year, we get a certificate for a 3 lb lobster (on or around our birthdays). The lunches are less expensive and the Philly Cheese Steak Sandwich is to die for! (and I'm not a huge sandwich person)

Agree that Cinzzettis (http://cinzzettis.com/2007/indexColorado.php) is great too! Frequently buffets have moderate to poor quality food that is often no longer HOT - Everything we've had here has been the right temp and flavor is great!

For Mexican food, we like Senior Rics (13200 E Mississippi Ave, Aurora, CO Phone: (303) 750-9000) -- Our favorite server is Umberto (not positive on the spelling of his name)
