Glad everyone had a good time! Wish I could have gone. With Tiffany home from College and Bob (DH) was leaving the next day for California for Firefighting and we are trying to get all the stuff made for our daughters wedding in June. We are quickly running out of time.
I only took pictures of corn fritters To tell you the truth I just didn't think of taking people pics. We were joined by Shari and her husband Joey.
We ended up having to wait about an hour (we didn't have enough people for a reservation) before we were seated which gave us a great time to get to know each other at the gazebo!! There was a lot of small world items!!
We then went in and monopolized our table for about an hour and half. Our poor server was in training and I was a stinker!!
Joey hadn't ever had a corn fritter That quickly changed and he really seemed to like them....the beets not so much
I would love to do this again sometime in the near future!!
Hey there -
Just wanted to poo in and say Hi ! Life has taken over my DIs posting fun . We are in the final countdown to vacation and I am so excited but I have so much to cram in and do before we actually leave ! I hate that feeling !
Did you guys get the downpour today around 11:15 like we did?? Man, water was running like crazy in the streets. I think it was worse than yesterday morning.

It was around 11:30 at Alex's school...where field day was going on! I think they were just about done and ready for lunch but they had planned to have everyone eat outside and that didn't happen. Then, an hour later, the sky was blue again.
Darn it Jrsy. Why is it that Field Days are always a scorcher or a rainy day. I don't think there has ever been a perfect field day. I guess May is the wettest month so you never know!
Yesterday was a first for me...mowing the lawn in a hailstorm. I figured I'd quit if it started to hurt, but it didn't last that long. The hail was more like little snowballs than ice.
I’m still struggling physically and emotionally. I have very limited use of my left arm and hope to begin physically therapy in the next couple of weeks. They just want it to heal at this point. I haven’t been able to work and am still taking far too many pain pills (but they are needed).
Thank you Cristi and Sandy for the cards and Sandy, I love the music!
