Colorado DISers ... where are you ?

Has anyone tried the Indoor Sky Diving near Park Meadows? We went this weekend and it was great fun! To bad it is so expensive because we would love to go again.

I haven't yet... the price keeps me saying that we will try it later. But it does look like great fun. I think we will probably do it sometime this summer.:cool1:

A friend of mine had a 2-for-1 coupon and did do it, and bought the video. She said it was harder than it looked!

Cool picture of the fox, Jrsy. We get them in our yard too, it is usually the back yard though. They never stick around long enough for a picture though.

We did a quick trip to Nebraska for the weekend. We left Friday after work, drove to North Platte and spent the night. Then on Saturday morning we did the other 5 hours of the trip. It was DH's aunt and uncle's 50th wedding anniversary.

Congrats to all of the graduates!!

Sheez, just got back from the zoo. I swear there was about 25 school busses from all different school districts. It was a zoo in more ways than one!!

lucky duck...my now Junior is already planning her graduation party (and her 18th birthday to boot!!):rotfl2:

You really don't think it stops with graduation????:rotfl2: The next step is WEDDINGS!! We will be done with the final wedding June 6th.

There are lots of 2 for 1 coupons around. That is what we used as I agree the price kept making me say no. Now that we have tried we are planning our next "jump."

I don't plan on mine ever marrying:confused3 :rotfl:

The tradition in my family is to pay for your own wedding and the china is passed down. :thumbsup2 I have my great-aunt's china, no less.

Our wedding was around $1200-1500 and took place at my in-laws house (in their greaaaat big front yard). My mom's was less--sheet cake and a bouquet, took place in front of her own fireplace.

I think we're allergic to churches. :rotfl:

Heck, it wasn't about tradition for us! We'd been together for years, and the family's attitude was "it's about time". I'd been out of the house so long and moved to another state - none of the parents felt obliged to contribute, but they did travel to attend! Mine was under $3K total, including the rings. I made my own dress, but did pick Foss Chapel to be married in. It's such a beautiful little stone chapel up in Indian Hills. Only holds 50 people, but I don't think I invited even that many.

Lesson learned: there's as much stress whether you invite 50 or 500 - but 50 costs less.

Now, do you think I can convince my kids that they can have as big a wedding (a looooooooong time from now) as they can afford??

Good Morning!

Sorry I have been MIA this week. Been working on wedding stuff. After this one I should only have one more wedding to go. I've already told her she has to wait at least 3 years or count me out!:lmao:

This weekend we should get the centerpieces, pew bows and napkin ring holders done. We are making all the decorations and all the flowers fresh and silk. My youngest daughter keeps seeing all the things we are doing she is getting more and more ideas and planning more for her wedding:scared1:

Thanks for all the Birthday Wishes!!!

Ya, my wedding was kind of expensive and we planned on paying for it all but I have the greatest mom and dad in the world and they helped us out A LOT, they were very generous and suprised us with their contributions. We finalized everything with the wedding coordinator last night and are now ready for our big day next Friday!!!

Thanks Heidi. Your reactions to everything was so much fun. We were happy to help! It's almost here!!!!!

Barb, I can't wait for Jaymee's wedding. You have done so much that it will be gorgeous!

We got our 2 for 1 coupon from the Entertainment Book. I went to craigslist and traded for more 2 for 1 coupons too, so that worked out pretty well.

Doesn't it figure that she'd pick a day that conflicts with the opening of "Kung-Fu Panda"?
