Colorado Cruisers

Tera,
I am on the Jan 21, 2006 Eastern Cruise. My husband wants to take our 7 yr. old snorkling. He will probably do that on his own with her unless there is a place we can all hang out and they can snorkle, my 3 year old and I can swim and my dad can read the paper. I will be looking for excursions that the whole family can do that do not involve too much shopping and getting wet in the water.(my dad hates both of these things).

On the whole door magnet thing. I have Disney print creations and Disney Classic collection that would make great magnets but what we also have now is a Mac. I can not use this software on my new machine. I have tried downloading images but the quality is not too good. Any other suggestions on where to get good disney images?

Sandie
:cold: :cold: :cold:

Sorry Sandie, can't help you with magnets and excursions. We did the eastern, which by the way is our favorite, but we did everything on our own. All beaches that cruise. St Thomas was our favorite. Paradise Point there gave us some beautiful views of the island and the Magic.

Ok, so am I the only one that doesn't know about fantasy football??

Heidi and I are doing the happy dance. Our Del Taco opened finally on So. Wads. I am sure it is a silent opening and will have a grand opening soon.

Going camping again. We will wash and wax the outside of the trailer this weekend. Anyone want to help?

Sandy, I am not into fantasy football either, don't feel bad. I knew the Del Taco looked like it was close to opening, but I didn't know it had already opened. Sorry, can't help with the trailer. I am going camping with 75 Girl Scouts this weekend. Wish me luck! ;)

I think someone asked me where I live in littleton, we are around 470 and Wadsworth. I pass the Del Taco every morning on my way to work out. I didn't realize it had opened. I did see 3 Margaritas was open!! Yum Yum!
Sandie :earboy2:

Sandie, have you tried Armadillos at Wads and Quincy? We like them more than 3 Margaritas.

Cristi, I think the trailer sounds easier than 75 Girl Scouts. Guess I will keep with my chore. Good luck with yours. Where do you take them camping?

Not cruising until next year though...but going to WDW in 9 days...WOOHOO!!
Didn't realize all of the Colorado Dis'ers here...AWESOME!!

We live in Aurora (Centennial) and I picked up my Home Depot "sponsored" Mickey heads today @ Mississippi & I-225. I was looking around to see if anyone knew what and why I was doing....no one did ;)

Have a great cruise to all you cruising, to any of you @ WDW 10/3-10/13 see you there :rotfl2:

SandyT - Sorry, can't help you with excursions for the easter. We did the western cruise and had fun on our excursions.

Sandy - Have fun camping or should I say cleaning the trailer ;)

Cristi - Which Girl Scout camp are you going to? Tomahawk? I was a GS leader for 7 years, so I know you're pain, but not with 75 girls. Hope you have a good time and the weather holds out for you.

Hello thelionqueen and Welcome to our little group :flower:

Well, I am back from the Girl Scout Campout. We did go up to Tomahawk. It was really nice up there. The weekend went really well. I was on the planning committee for the unit camp so once we got there I was pretty much considered a "trouble shooter" and didn't have to work a station. We did have 75 girls, but there were also 24 adults so the ratio was really good. And out of those girls there were probably around 15 or so Cadettes, so we had them leading the patrols and leading campfire songs. Friday night wasn't the greatest back in our cabin. Our girls just seem to get out of control and don't listen to anything we say. Last night was good though. We completely wore them out on Saturday and they were pretty subdued last night. :)

Crisit - Glad you guys had a good time. I loved going to Tomahawk for the weekend, especially when someone else was planning our activities ;) I remember how wild our girls used to be on the first night, but they were always wiped out by the second evening :goodvibes

Cristi, I thought about you this weekend. Sounds like you did pretty good.

My earlier post I asked Sandie (I believe) if she had been to Armadillos at Wads and Quincy. I meant Wads and Belleview. That drove me crazy all weekend until I could correct myself tonight. Crazy how a mind works!

DCLCruiser, are you home yet?

Welcome thelionqueen! Have fun in WDW. Wish I was going! I burned my dear old hubby out of WDW. Have to give it a few years break. Shoot!!

Don't be silly! Just take Heidi!

Whoa! Somewhere along the line I graduated to DIS cast member!

We roughed it at The Inn at Grand Lake all weekend. There was a folk festival going on in the town park, right across the street from our balcony. We did log about 18 miles of hiking, although some of that was through the shops in town. The scenery up there is spectacular and the aspen were blazing.
We also drove up The Moffat Road near Winter Park on the way home. That was exciting and you could see for miles. Felt like I was going to bump my head on God's @$$. :rotfl:
There were no Del Tacos, but if you head up US40, I recommend Jenny's in Empire and Remington's in Granby.

Wow, I am jealous. That sounded like a spectacular weekend. We spent our working on the trailer and you had a grand time. Something is wrong with that picture. No Del Tacos. :rotfl: :rotfl: You crack me up.

Val, that was a very good point. But....dear old hubby and I never separate for vacations. We just take Heidi along. :teeth:
