How many of you collect Disney pins? Do you choose a theme, character or resort? I don't collect any but maybe DS will in the future!:)

I don't collect them, but I do tend to buy Mickey Mouse or Stitch pins

My DD started to collect them on our last visit, She usually buys them at the theme parks.

Does anyone know a good way to buy cheap pins to trade in the UK? Or a reputable ebay seller?

It's been a long time since I;ve bought any pins in the u.k. I used to get them from a seller called "Dispins" on e-bay but I'm not sure if they're still going.

With my pins I tend to have only a couple of main collections (Goofy, pirates, cowboys) and then just whatever takes my fancy after that. Lots of rides and attractions and whatever else catches my eye.

I have a few. Mainly ones from rides I have been on or park themed ones then just anything I like :)

:yay:

I just pick up a few that take my eye, either in the parks or on ebay if I need a Disney pick-me-up :) I seem to have a lot of Haunted Mansion ones as it's my fave ride, I also make sure to pick up the pin for the MNSSHP night we go to.

I started collecting pins after my visit to WDW in 2004 and buy what I like the look of, some are limited editions and worth quite a bit of money, others are in sets, it just depends what I like.

I am quite a serious collector and I find the pins from UK sellers (on ebay) to be really expensive and the postage ridiculous. I will not pay £1.50 or even £2 for a pin that weighs nothing so I actually buy my pins from the States, from a really great guy in California, it is ALWAYS cheaper than buying in the UK. The postage for each pin from the States is 50cents! and because it's so much cheaper I buy about £30 at a time and get loads for that price.

If you just want the odd pin or two then the UK sellers on ebay are great but I buy lots at a time and will always buy from the same guy in the States.

If you want his details then just PM me and I will get them for you.

I collect whatever I fancy, my DD collects Minnie pins and my DS collects Mickey pins!

I hope you have fun with it, I love my pins and have great memories every time I go through my pin bags!

Here are a few of the ones I have!

Im not a serious collector at all but I do have quite a lot that ive picked up from around the parks. I dont tend to go for a particular theme, park or character, I just tend to pick up the ones that stand out to me :goodvibes

Ive never traded any with Disney Cast neither, but would love to try it. I just never have any I want to trade. I probably will never trade them unless somewhere along the line I pick up a double of something I already have. ;)

It's a slippery slope! For years I only had about a dozen, now I have hundreds - 10 or so albums full :confused3 I get more every trip. we like tinkerbell, Figaro and Mickey as well as those special occasion ones for each trip (and boy do they have a lot pf special occasions!:rotfl: )

My DD always buys hers from the parks, She gets one from each park, And sometimes buy's some extra ones out of the shops in WDW.

DS has around 500 pins now, trades loads every trip.
Can highly recommend this seller on Ebay, I bought 100 off him last year for $199.95 buy it now. Had them shipped to our hotel in Cali while we were there last October. Cost for postage was $11 incl insurance. So total cost was £1.11/pin http://stores.ebay.com/Pinfinder-The-Original-and-Best
He also has a website same pack of 100 pins delivered anywhere in the world $240 =£1.26/pin http://www.pinfinder.com/
The pins were all unused in little packets over half were hidden Mickey cast lanyard pins.
There are other sellers cheaper but read their listings very closely.

Jill I have got hundreds, now I mainly collect for special events only :teeth:
