collapsable coolers?

I remember when we came in 2001 that we took a bag that looked like a small golf bag that was actually a cooler. We filled it with ice and bought water bottles from Disney in the parks and put it in there to keep it cold. We refilled the bottles everyday in our room and got more ice from the hotel to fill the bag.
We hung it over the back of the stroller and it worked really nice when the kids wanted a drink. Can we still do this?

We did the same thing last April. Our boys were 3.5 and 17 months at the time, and it was so nice to be able to keep their drinks cold in the cooler.

I don't think the policy on that has changed.

Ours is a mid size collapsable from Target and we put the ice in zip lock bags to curb leaks and drips. We use it at the pool also.

You can still do it. The official policy is no outside food or drink but it's just to keep out a full size roller cooler with lunch and dinner stored in it. Something small with drinks or snacks isn't going to cause any fuss. I would follow the recommendation of putting the ice in a Ziploc bag. That actually helps make the ice last longer plus you don't have to worry about any leaks.

You can also toss in a couple of washcloths for the kids. Keeps them cold and makes for a refreshing "pick me up" during the day.
