Hi all. We leave Saturday for Disney and I purchased LL for MK on the 13th. I got an 8:15 for Tiana but seeing how it's 28 there now that might be a problem even for us Mainers!! We have ponchos which I'll bring so we don't get wet and it looks like temps won't be as cold that day but do they shut it down at a certain temp? If so what will happen to our LL? This is my daughters #1 ride that is a must do.

I imagine if the ride isn't running for whatever reason, it would convert to an anytime?

We live within 10 miles of MK and the lowest temperature in our backyard over the last 7 days was 43. Where did you see 28?

For the 13th, the forecast is for a high of about 72 and low of 50.

We did have freeze warnings for the lower 30's the past couple of nights, but we are closer to The Villages than WDW.

Bring rain ponchos. Wear the rain ponchos on the ride.

I will be there the 9th-12th, and the 10 day weather forecast is looking better than this week. (Well, except for potential rain on my Jollywood night, but that can change...)

We're here now. It's cool, but nowhere near 28.
We rode Tiana yesterday at 8:30.....very little wetness. The water was turned way down.

Sorry it was 28 in Jacksonville, I know it was warmer there but still only high 40's. I've been looking at standby times all day and either I was hitting it wrong or Tiana was closed all day so I assumed it was temperature related.

Tiana's does not have a Standby queue. Only LLMP and a Virtual Queue that may be what is confusing you. Check for the Pink badge with the Temporary Closed message just above the Standby Queue tile which always shows "Not Currently Offered".

I have been on this ride (as Splash Mtn), and you were less likely to get wet on cold days.

Yes, most of the "splash" is actually generated by water cannons. They turn them down or off when it is colder or at night even. Of course, there is still a chance of a big splash ocurring naturally depending on how the boat is loaded, etc. (they like to put me and my rather large buddy in front - I know they do it on purpose! 🤣), so there is always a risk, but generally it's not intended to get you absolutely soaked.

Now, the version at Disneyland - that's another story. It is WET, WET, WET! It has a different ride system though with smaller, narrower boats (single file).

I’m bringing our ponchos but do your feet get soaked? I don’t want to walk around with wet shoes!!

We rode it just before Christmas on a fairly cool morning. The only part of us that got wet was our heads! :P I was worried about feet as well, but they were fine. I'm super sensitive to cold and really was fine-I was wearing a puffer jacket and it kept me warm while my hair dried after the ride.
