I just saw a flock of about 20 robins in my front yard. Isn't it way too early to be coming back to PA? It is cold here (below freezing) and there is snow. What's going on?:confused3 I don't want them to go hungry, and I don't think they eat bird food.

Every January the robins fly through town on their way to somewhere else. They only spend one day. I think they were a week earlier this year, but still pretty much right on schedule. I don't know what the ones in PA were doing - got a late start I guess. :confused3

Back in October - when I was still at the lake - we had a very, very, cold snap that lasted for about 2 and a half weeks.. During that time I watched the geese fly south.. By the end of October - into November - we had "above" normal temps and I watched the geese flying north again - like they had made a u-turn somewhere.. :rotfl:

It was the stangest thing.. I assume they eventually flew south again - but with the weather as cold as it has been in the south recently, who the heck knows where they are now??? :confused3

Pretty bad when even the birds are getting confused - huh?
