Got a call last night from DVC asking if I had viewed the webcast, stating that the lithograph was on its way and did I want more information about the incentives? This is the first time they've done this. My guide has called occasionally, but not just a 'generic' DVC person.
Anyone else get this call?

Yes, I have gotten a cold call after each of the webcasts. Sometimes my guide will also call but unfortunately I am not able to add on at this time.

I got a call after one of the prior webcasts and told the CM that called the information in the webcast was very outdated. Definitely liked this one with Samantha Brown much better than the prior ones.

You want outdated?

My sister (not a member yet) watched the webcast. She was interested, so I called my Guide and asked a package of info be sent to her. Took almost a month.

She finally got it, watched it, and called me, wanting to know why they showed the BLT under construction, coming in 2009, in the dvd she got.

Never said I wanted outdated. Some of the prior webcasts talked about things at the parks and resorts that was already several months old.

I got the call too. They asked if I was interested in any of the incentives right now but i told them I couldn't. I did tell them that my brother was headed to Hawaii next month and I was sending him over to check it out.

DH and I wondered the same thing when we watched the dvd we got last month when we decided to join athome. We had already seen BLT in person. We just wanted to watch the dvd while we waited for our guide to sent us our paperwork.

No, I didn't get a call. But then, I kind of wonder how they know if I watched it. I did sign up for it, and yes, I did watch it. But there wasn't anywhere that I saw to click that I'd seen it, or to put in my Email address at the end. So I don't know if this is normal.

I entered my e-mail address at the beginning to "log on" to the webcast.

It is a custom stream to your computer. It is the same video for everybody but it sends the stream directly to you for you to watch. So they have a record of how much you watched and if you clicked on anything during the video. If you did not have to log in at the beginning then your computer did an auto log in for you. I signed up once but my mom watched it and then i watched it later. I got two emails thanking me for watching it. Surfing the web is not anonymous in any way. The owner of the site can ignore your existence or log in every click and time you did each thing. If you did not get the thank you email you may want to contact them to make sure you get credit for the sketch/drawing/picture. I have a whole wall devoted to the DVC lithographs and images that i have taken. This one will be our fourth... :woohoo:

We received a call but ours was a bit weird. CM called and asked if we saw video, we said yes, then asked if we liked our guide we said yes, he thanked us and hung up. Two days later I receive a call from my guide stating that he received an email that we wanted to add on. We do not, we just purchased. Guide was great about the whole thing but hubby and I found it a bit pushy and we do not like that.
