Finally a break in the really cold (for us) weather so I am celebrating by turning the heat up to 70.
This winter has been unusually cold and I just am not prepared - no space heaters, no down comforters, no wool socks . . . I have been resisting buying those things because hopefully we won't need them again (most winters, we get temps below freezing occasionally at night and hardly ever during the day), and spending that money for one season's use doesn't seem economical. I might rethink that reasoning when I see the latest electric bill.
