Does Disney serve mainly Coke or Pepsi products?
We're staying at POR and will be using our re-fillable mugs, and my husband is addicted to Dr. Pepper. He won't drink Mr. Pibb, so hopefully they'll have Dr. Pepper for him, if not, he'll just have to live with drinking something else.

Coke... which is a bummer because I'm addicted to Diet Pepsi.

Thank God for Garden grocer!

The Hess stations on WDW property do not carry Pepsi. Or Dr. Pepper. (Apparently Dr. Pepper is neither a Coke nor Pepsi product. It can be distributed either by Coke or by Pepsi depending on which part of the country you're in - and in Florida it looks like it's Pepsi) Seems that all establishments on WDW property, whether owned by Disney or not, carry Coke products only.

Noticed that for sure at the Swan/Dolphin because all the other Starwood properties I have been to have only Pepsi products - not the Swolphin. They have only Coke.

I'm addicted to Diet Pepsi too. So I guess our options will be Coke, Diet Coke and Sprite. Not sure what else Coke makes.
Oh well, we'll just have to make due. :rotfl:

Coke also makes the wonderful Coke Zero. CZ is Diet Coke for People Who (Love Classic but) Hate Diet Coke. I was thrilled when I was looking over one of the TS menus on the WDW site and CZ was among the beverages listed. That stuff is the business.

Meanwhile...I'm sorry about your Dr. Pepper. Sometimes you can get the servers to do a splash of grenadine in coke, which is more cherry, but still inching closer to the sweetness of DP.

fupresti, what is wrong with you?! :rotfl2:

1) Dr Pepper is owned by Cadbury-Schweppes.
2) They can be in Coke or Pepsi machines, based upon local licensing.
3) They also own beverages labeled as
. . . 7-Up
. . . Crush
. . . Snapple
. . . A&W
. . . Canada Dry
. . . Country Time (as in Lemonade)
. . . Hawaiian Punch
. . . Hires Root Beer
. . . Mott's
. . . RC Cola
. . . Schweppes
. . . Squirt
. . . Stewart's Root Beer
. . . Sunkist (sodas)
. . . Vernor' Ginger Ale
. . . Welch's
. . . Yoo-Hoo
. . . Penafiel Water
. . . Diet Rite
. . . IBC

Rose's grenadine syrup is widely used by restaurants and is pomegranate based. If you ask for a Roy Rogers, you will get a Coke and grenadine drink that is much more sweet than Coke and is yummy drink.

My hubby is addicted to Diet Dew and knowing the Coke product situation at WDW, we had our town car driver from Airport stop at a Walgreens and we purchased some there. This was a free 20 minute stop offered by the company we went with...I can look up name of company we used if anyone needs one...they were VERY nice and timely, free little extras...

We couldn't use the Magical Express, as our flight was direct into Sanford, not Orlando International...so...for this situation...the stop was nice.

Just a thought...since most rooms have frig's or you can get one for a small fee.

I know how it is having someone who only cares for one type of drink!!

I was able to solve my problem with not having Pepsi products while at WDW.

Budweiser
Labatts
Heineken
Bass Ale
Dos Equis
Sapporo

I made it a goal to have a beer at every country at Epcot. :rotfl:

I'm a Dr. Pepper fan too. I'm originally from St. Louis and noticed that the Coke at Disney tastes a lot better than St. Louis Coke. It has more zip and a sharper taste. They also have Cherry Coke, but I don't remember Pibb. We do not get that here because Coke bottles and distributes DP.

I don't care who you are......that's funny right there!! :rotfl2:

It's absolutely horrible that there are NO Pepsi products anywhere on Disney property! I can tolerate "fountain" coke products, but can't stand to drink them from a can. I am a diet pepsi freak! pirate: If we fly to Disney, we either have them delivered from the garden grocer...or usually have friends that drive down the same time we are going...so they carry some for me. Now that my kids are older and oldest DD is in a wheelchair, it's just easier to drive to be able to carry everything we need. So, now it's not a problem. We just go to the grocery and pick up diet pepsi as needed! But like other PP stated, don't even expect to go to a convenience store on disney property and find pepsi. How is that for convenience??? :rotfl:

Coke.I am a Coke zero addict and now stopped COLD TURKEY after reading Jillian Michaels "Master your Metabolism"

Don't tell me that. Now, I will have to read that *&%$ book! :rotfl: I'm sure it's not what I would want to hear.

They had Mr.Pibb when we were there in October of '07. My DH is a Dr. Pepper lover and he will tell you Mr. Pibb is no where near the same as Dr. Pepper. LOL .... Everyone has there preference right? LOL:goodvibes

I, too, am a Dr. Pepper'aholic (actually, now diet Dr. Pepper), and what I have done when going there and on the Disney Cruise Line is the following. At the MCO airport I have stayed at the Hyatt, and they carry Dr. Pepper as well as Diet Dr. Pepper in their vending machines, so I have bought them there to take with me. Another time, we rented a vehicle for just the first day we were there and went to a grocery store and bought some. I also have packed a couple 20 oz drinks in my carry on (prior to all of the changes on the airlines), and also once packed a couple in my checked luggage (in a rubbermaid container). I can't stand any coke products, so I am just about willing to do anything to get my Dr. Pepper there! :lmao: I do with that Disney would start carrying Dr. Pepper, because Mr. Pibb does NOT taste like Dr. Pepper, as all you Pepper drinkers know!
