Hi and TIA for any and all suggestions. My DW this afternoon brought home a single cup Keurig coffe maker. If you have taken one on a DVC vacation how did you transport it? Did you put it in check-in, or has anyone put it in a carry-on (such as a roll duffle)? Again TIA for the help.

Not a coffee maker, but I lugged a juicer in my checked bag last June. It now lives in my Owner's Locker waiting for our next visit. I like to think that the juicer, our first and since replaced twice, has retired to Florida!

Is it the mini Keurig or one of the larger ones? I purchased the mini earlier this year and carried it as a carryon in one of the DVC canvas bags which we got for buying our original points. I plan on putting it in the carryon bag this coming week for our upcoming trip. The mini is lighter and has no reservoir so you have to add water with each cup of coffee. With the regular Keurig (not mini) you have to make sure that all of the water is out of the interior storage area...there's a way to pump it out...before you take it through airport security. With the mini there is no problem because there is no reservoir inside to worry about. Having a good cup of coffee in our room is worth the inconvenience of carrying it around the airports LOL.
