Coffee maker swap at POP

Hey guys...that is me who got qouted up there.....

This is what happened when I gave them OUR Mr Coffee to hold for our next and FIRST swappers!!!

They were OK w/ Mr Coffee cause it was a small box.....its the fridge swaps they appear to be getting fed up with.
Again, this could have been just one CM venting...Remember, (no offense) I am sure these CM's work this shift (3-5 am time) for a reason...One lady was near rude....but she was off for a "ciggy break"...she wasn't very Disneyesque....

Again, if you read that post I made, read it carefully....please dont imply anything other than what I stated. Our coffee pot will hopefully be handed off to our next swappers! I would hate for something I started to stop before everyone got to enjoy having good coffee in the morning!!!

I feel the same way as teslaaunt, ugh! I finally got to be on a swamp. Just my luck this came up.

I think, or just me, Maybe the head of the swamp check into it with the manager, just to get his 2 cents....

Your absulately right, the CM could just be venting, having a bad morning..just don't want to do the extra work. Just took it out on you...

I know you where not flaming or anything...I just thought everyone should have heads up... You never know..

Hi DisneyBride-welcome back and how was your trip? Sorry to hear that some of the CMs are annoyed at the swaps. I've heard from others that most of the CMs are very helpful. Again, sorry you had to back out of our refrigerator swap but everything worked out well in the end. Our swap is still going strong, and hopefully "management" won't put an end to it. If they do it'll mean the only way to have a refrigerator swap would be that all swaps would have to be made in person. A little more of a scheduling nightmare, but still doable, for a short time. Maybe only 3-4 families could do it. It would still reduce the expensive of a nightly rental.

Anyway, just wanted to say hi, hope your DM, DD and yourself had a great trip.

And I agree, kill 'em with kindness is a great rule!

We had a great trip!! You are exceptional to keep that fridge swap going!!!! Apparantly there is more than one fridge swap, and that is what the CM referred to, ..all the fridge's taking up so much room.

well I hate to say this but it looks like our coffee thread has came to an end. It looks like the next person in line has backed out without telling me. So sorry everyone...as of now the coffee thread is done. I don't think there is anything more I can do. Like I said before....it was all about the trust in our fellow Dis board users, and all it takes is one person to ruin it for everyone. Again I'm sorry that I have to be the one to break the news to you all out here. what a bummer! it sucks that people can be so irresponsible and just flat out...well....lame! how hard is it to keep up with a coffee maker swap??? don't get involved if you can't keep your obligations. it's just common sense. this just gets to me because of all the hard work WDW1sttimers put in and the poster who originally bought the coffee maker. it's a shame people are so inconsiderate!

having said that, i hope nothing bad happened in their family or something. i would feel really bad for flaming them!!!

Ok...it is official...our next swappers in line are not going to Disney, just found out a few minutes ago.

So how abt we try to get perhaps a fridge swap dis er to use the Mr Coffee so all of our hard work doesnt go down the drain....not to mention my $..I only used the darn thing for 2 mornings

He is actually disappointed..cause he gave me the idea of having a spot on the box where everyone could leave a message that used it!!

So...lets find someone..WDW_1stTimers put alot of time and effort getting this going....and I know so many of you were looking forward to having decent coffee!!

Sorry everyone I haven't had a chance to get caught up on the thread yet as I have had a busy end of the week and weekend. It's now 3 in the morning and I need sleep. Just got off the phone with POP, spoke with the most awesome CM ever, Magdalene ...she looked, and l@@KED....it was over in Bell Services...she brought it over to the front desk with our NEW Mr Coffee Swapper!!!!

She really took her time, was soooo pleasant, and searched until she found it!!!! And changed the name so we are all set!!
Raise up your coffee mugs..yes...right now...I am...and say Cheers!!!!
So we will get the next persons info to mylightshines, I think you come in on the 24th!
