Hi everyone 
. I have found some cute ideas that i hope will make our reception a little more unique (and it would be nice if it saved us a little $$).
My idea is instead of having a 5 hour open bar (1 hr cocktail, 4 reception) I would love to start cocktail hour w/ 2 siganture drinks. Like a kir royale (champagne w/ rasberry liqour - my favorite) and something like a martini or an invented drink to go with our theme passed on trays w/ the cocktail food. In NY doing something like this saves money because the facility only has to open 2 or 3 types of liquor as opposed to many different types the guest would normally order.
Then since the receprion is 4 hours I would do 3 hours open bar (do they do wine served at the table w/ the meal?)
My fiance and I are huge coffe bar fans..we love all things espresso...so I was wondering if they could set up a coffee station w/ espresso, cappuccino and lattes? They also do this in NY and I thought it may be cheaper than the open bar that hour plus it would be a nice and personal ending (to sober up all the drunks-j/k).....So my question to you all is has anyone done any of these things or known someone who has?
