I am sure this has been answered before, but I cant find it- what kind of coffee do they have in the food courts at the moderate resorts (specifically POR or CBR)? Is it instant? And can you get coffee pots from housekeeping? Thanks, Pippi

I believe it's Nescafe. It's bad. Sorry! For a good cup of coffee try stop by the Poly before heading into the MK and grab a cup of Kona coffee at the coffee bar near the Kona Cafe. Better yet, have breakfast at the Cafe and treat yourself to an expensive press pot of Kona coffee. Yum! Boma and Jiko at the AKL also offer good coffee. I believe it's Kenya AA.

NESCAFE coffee is all over WDW and it is worse than the Orlando water!

I always bring my own coffee (maxwell house premeasured packets) & small coffee pot (if needed) with me going to WDW.

If Nescafe wasnt involved in WDW, they would be out of business. Does anyone, while at home buy this poision????:sad2:

They had it where I work for a short time (free coffee for employees) but everyone protested and they changed it. I was afriad that it was that- Nescafe- but I an get a coffee maker, right??? Thanks, Pip

We stayed at CBR in May 2003 and had a coffee pot in our room (didn't ask for it, already there). We brought our own coffee, but mousekeeping replenished the coffee daily. Can't remember the brand, but it was ground drip coffee and very good. The food court coffee on the other hand was nothing to write home about.

We had a coffee pot at CSR and the coffee was supplied. It was good as long as I used two packs unstead of one to make a pot. Just left a note asking for extra coffee and it was provided.

This time I am staying at AKL lodge and requested a coffee pot in the room. I am bringing Starbucks from home.

Oh for the old days of 100% columbian coffee everywhere at Disney.

Even though we had the coffee maker in our room, we never used it. We just drank the coffee at the food court. It wasn't the best, but it certainly wasn't the worst either. We don't drink it black, so maybe the half & half and Equal disguised the taste. Since we ate there most mornings, it was just easier for us.

Guess I'm not the coffee snob that I thought I was :D
