No, they don't have coffee pots at value resorts.

Answer is No.

However I have done a coffeemaker swap in past, ala stroller swap or Pal Mickey swap.

Doing it again next week.

I buy an $8 12 cup coffeemaker at Target, use it for the week, post a note on the boards, and find someone checking in close to my check out date. Then I just clean it and leave it for them at check in......

I am strongly considering bringing my own portable teapot...the kind you plug in and wait for the hot water. That way, I can have my tea as soon as I wake up in the am!!! I'm sure my FIL will enjoy having a cup of joe in the am as well (he doesn't mind the instant stuff so I will bring some packets for him...surprise!!!)

That is really kinda bad - even the regular hotels now have coffee in the room. Holiday Inn Express - Comfort Inns...just regular old motels! We ahve never done a value resort before - they don't have irons and boards, either....we are going with a tour group and are paying rack rates...for 120 a night - coffee and an iron wouldn't be bad!

Think I will stick with the Poly for our family trips!

Actually, Pop Century has iron and boards in the room, and hairdryers upon request.

The All Stars have both available upon request, unless they have recently installed iron & boards in the rooms.

No offense, but value resort rooms cheapest rack rate is $77/night, and Poly is $304/night. You can argue that value resort guests are getting ripped off because they dont have coffee pots, but I think many would see it a different way...
