Codes, where from

I received a code in the mail this past January, and I was not able to use it.
I am hoping to get another one this coming January for next August, as we are planning to go then in 2009. I am signed up for emails from Disney Destinations. Is there anywhere else I should be signed up for at to possibly get emails? Disney Visa has our email too.

Another question, if i book our trip for next august when the new rates come out, do you think i am less likely to get a pin, since I have a trip booked?

The offers are from Disney Desinations and i'm pretty sure they do this exclusively for Disney. Any other offers would be from a 3rd party and I generally do not pay attention to those (even though I've probably only received 2 or so ).

For the 2nd part of your question, that answer would require knowing how the codes work (which no one but DD knows). From my POV, I always book a year in advance and have never gotten a code. I've had to use public codes or whatever's available to the general public to qualify for any type of discount. If you wait, you risk not getting a room or the room type you may be wanting.

I know, it's a tough decision, but if you book now you can start making payments extra early. That way if/when a general public code comes out, you simply apply it to your existing reservation and you get some extra spending money back for your vacation.

Are public codes every for Poly? I thought this current august it is the value or moderate. We plan on going next August.
