codes, what a joke

Called tonight to try to book a vacation in Sept.08. Central reservations gave us a quote for a room at BWI and low and behold the price for the same exact package with a code was $100.00 more.They could not explain the reason why, that was the price and thats it. Donot know what we should do, any suggestions?

How about either booking it yourself on-line or booking thru Dreams Unlimited. That is very strange, that a code rate room would be more. I have never heard that one before. I wonder if it is some sort of computer glitch. Or maybe even call back tomorrow and see what happens.

It was for 20 percent off as we have read on these boards.

I would call Disney back and ask them to apply the code... see what happens...

Perhaps the code was for 20% off of "rack" rates and the rate you were quoted was a promotional rate which just happened to be better.

I received a 40% off room code, and compared it with booking on their web site without the discount. It came out to be exactly 40% off of the room. I would call back and talke to another CM. Something has to be wrong somewhere. Good luck.
