Codes might not come out...

I talked to a CM a couple weeks ago and he said that there may be codes coming out after the feb. codes expired or 90 days before the time, but I called and talked to another CM last night after ordering my tickets and she told me that since the rooms where booking up so fast she had heard that there might not be any codes coming out except for FL residents. Which FL residents have some kind of code or discount for something about all year. makes since why would WDW need to offer codes if the rooms are full? I did get my tixs at FL resident discount and advance saving cost. Still waiting though.

I think there's still hope becaue they are sending out email and postcard codes. IF they release general codes, there may be a small amount and not for all resorts.

Let's hope they do. I have never been to Disney when they didn't have a code available and I would hate this to be my first.

I'm hoping for a code to better the AAA discount we have for the end of August!!!!

I got caught without an AP rate or Code rate for late September 2003. I did get AAA, it was about 20%. For some reason there were no AP or Code discounts for that month. By all reports, the resorts and parks were not crowded. They then released big discounts for October through Christmas. So who knows.

We're going in early October and the CM I spoke with said that she was fairly certain there would be codes then, especially with the hurricane season last year. Perhaps they're not going to have codes during peak/busier seasons? Not sure if we could do a WDW without codes!---had one for each of the past 3 years.

You can call 10 different times, talk to 10 different CM's and probably end up with at least 8 different answers. I think the truth is they have no clue when codes will be released. They're guessing just like the rest of us.

I think you are right. We are all anxious for more codes, but it is too early to be expecting more released right now. I will start to worry if codes are not released in March sometime. Until then, I will hope for the best.

Hang in there you guys, gotta' believe in those codes!

We're going during busy Easter/Spring break, and ALL code types were offered: AAA, general/public, and AP (maybe even Florida, but don't know for sure?). Certainly if they'd offer discounts then -- when rooms are very popular and going fast -- why not during your time? I know, I know, the new WDW offerings and the 50th anniversary stuff does make WDW more popular, but, come on, we're going 3/22-3/28, which is all 7s-10 according to Unofficial Guide.

Same panic, different year
Last spring we all wondered the same thing "will they come out?"
I'm still hopeful. If not, then they don't. I think Disney will see deluxe resort reservations change over to something else though.
